Salford Priors railway station was a railway station located in the village of Salford Priors, Warwickshire, England. Opened on 16 June 1866 (17 September for passengers) [2] as part of the Evesham & Redditch Railway, it had only one platform but a brick built waiting room/ticket office and station master's house. [3] It closed on 17 June 1963, although the last train ran on 1 October 1962, after which the train service was suspended due to the poor condition of the track. A bus service replaced it while the statutory closure process was gone through. [4]

The station building itself is still in existence, little changed and used as an office building. [5] The goods shed still stands.

Most of the station was in Salford, with only the 1929 extension to platform 3 east of the Irwell in Manchester.

Didsbury railway station

Didsbury railway station is a former station in Didsbury, in the southern suburbs of Manchester, England, United Kingdom. The station was located on Wilmslow Road, just north of the junction with Barlow Moor Road and opposite Didsbury Library. Nothing now remains of the old station buildings, which have been demolished, but the surviving white Portland stone clock tower is a local landmark. Didsbury is now served by Didsbury Village tram stop which is close to the site of the former railway station.

The Evesham branch of the Midland Railway was an English railway line, operated by the Midland Railway. It ran from Barnt Green via Redditch, Alcester and Evesham to Ashchurch. It was sometimes known as the Gloucester loop line of the Midland Railway.

Port Dinorwic railway station was the name of two railway stations located on the Bangor and Carnarvon Railway near the village of Port Dinorwic, Gwynedd, Wales. The first station was opened in 1852 and closed in 1874. A replacement station with the same name was opened later in 1874. This closed to passengers in 1960 and to all traffic in 1964.

Griffiths Crossing railway station Disused railway station in Gwynedd, Wales

Griffith's Crossing railway station was a former railway station located on the Bangor and Carnarvon Railway about a mile and a half south west of Port Dinorwic, Gwynedd, Wales. It was opened in June 1854 with one platform and a single storey station building made of local stone with a booking office and waiting room. When the line was doubled in 1872, a second platform was constructed with a simple waiting shelter on it, made of similar materials to the main building. The two 320 ft platforms were connected by a level crossing. To the west was a small siding with a ramp.

Harvington railway station was a station in Harvington, Worcestershire, England. The station was opened on 17 September 1866, train services were withdrawn in 1962 and a bus service provided until officially closed on 17 June 1963.
