The McKinley School, also known as North Side School, is a historic school building located at Seventeenth St. and Home Ave., in Columbus, Indiana. It was designed by architect Charles Franklin Sparrell and built in 1892. It is a 2+1⁄2-story, five bay, Richardsonian Romanesque style red brick building with a limestone base and hipped roof. It measures 73 feet wide and 38 feet deep. An addition was erected in 1942, and measures approximately 127 feet wide and 38 feet deep.

It was built in 1895, and is a two-story, transitional Queen Anne / Classical Revival style brick and limestone building. It features a recessed entrance, round turret topped by a conical roof, and a wide frieze band of garlands and torches. It was built to house the offices and laboratory for the South Bend Remedy Company, a mail order patent medicine business. It was moved to 501 W. Colfax Ave. in 1988, and then to 402 W. Washington St. in 2003.

The school has an enrollment of 471 students, and the principal is George Azar. Beginning at the start of the 2021–2022 school year, he will be replaced by Melissa Greene.

It was built in 1856, and is a two-story, Greek Revival style brick dwelling, with a 1+1⁄2-story rear wing. It is three bays wide and has a gable front roof. Also on the property is a contributing fieldstone milk house. It was the home of William Hershey, son of the builder Joseph M. Hershey, who served with the 16th Independent Battery Indiana Light Artillery in the American Civil War and witnessed the assassination of Abraham Lincoln.

It was designed by architect Jarvis Hunt (1863–1941) and built in 1909–1910. It is a ten-story, rectangular, Neo-Gothic style brick and terra cotta building. It is three bays wide and 10 bays deep. The top floor features a corbelled terra cotta balcony, Tudor-like window openings, and a Gothic parapet. It is located next to the Taylor Carpet Company Building. The building housed the Indianapolis News until 1949.

It features large Chicago style window openings. The building housed the Rink's Womens Apparel Store, in operation until 1939.
