Still on My Mind is the fifth studio album by English singer Dido, released on 8 March 2019 through BMG. [2] It is her first studio album since 2013's Girl Who Got Away . The album was supported by singles "Give You Up", "Take You Home", "Friends" and "Just Because".
Dido wrote and recorded the album in the UK with her brother Rollo. She said she "only wanted to make another album if it was with him", and called the recording process simple and an "absolutely magical experience", [3] saying it was "made in such an easy way, all the vocals recorded on the sofa, a lot of it recorded at home". [4]
Dido said she inadvertently made the album very similar to No Angel . Dido felt no one would ever hear No Angel at the time of its release and that the feeling that no one would hear her album crept into Still on My Mind because she had a good time recording it. [5]
Dido learned a lot about production while making the album on songs like "Hell After This" and "Mad Love". She described her style of production as less professional, haphazard, and a mess compared to her brother, Rollo Armstrong, as she records everything in one take and is constantly deleting stuff. The final track on the album, "Have to Stay", was recorded in its first take as she was writing it. The person Dido was writing with, Ryan Laubscher, doesn't move chords for the first two verses of the song because he's getting to grips with what she's singing as she's singing it for the first time. Dido said she loved the feel of it so much that when she came in to record it properly, it never felt the same, so she kept the first recording. [5]
The album is said to display Dido's "love of hip hop and her folk roots", and feature "a dance and electronic music sensibility". [4] According to Neil Z. Yeung of AllMusic, Still on My Mind is essentially an electro-folk album with a "hip hop heartbeat" and elements of electro-pop, synth-pop, disco and new age. [1]

Still on My Mind received generally positive reviews from music critics. At Metacritic, which assigns a normalized rating out of 100 to reviews from mainstream critics, the album has an average score of 70 based on 11 reviews, indicating "generally favourable reviews".
Dido first announced the single "Give You Up" while answering fan questions on Twitter, and also revealed the title of "Chances". [16] Dido later stated in an interview with the Evening Standard that the final track on the album would be a song about parenthood titled "Have to Stay". [17]
Dido performed "Give You Up" live on The Jonathan Ross Show , which aired on 9 March 2019. [18]
Despite releasing a total of four singles from the album, Dido failed to promote the last three at all, due to being on tour.

Life for Rent is the second studio album by English singer Dido, released by Arista Records on 29 September 2003. The album was produced by her brother Rollo Armstrong and American songwriter Rick Nowels. Work on the album began in mid-2002. It was certified 9× Platinum by the BPI, and sold over 12 million copies worldwide, making it the fourth best-selling album worldwide of 2003. The album became the seventh best-selling album of the 2000s in the United Kingdom, making Dido the only singer to have two albums in the top 10 list.
Alright, Still is the debut studio album by English singer Lily Allen, released on 13 July 2006 by Regal Recordings. After being rejected by several record labels, Allen signed to London Records, who eventually lost interest in her, leading her to meet production duo Future Cut and sign to Regal Recordings. Recording for the album began in 2004 with sessions between Allen and Future Cut, and Allen's work garnered publicity on the internet as she posted demos to her MySpace account before they were officially released. Allen later travelled to the United States to work with Greg Kurstin and Mark Ronson, to complete the final half of the album in 2006.

The Element of Freedom is the fourth studio album by American singer and songwriter Alicia Keys, released on December 11, 2009, by J Records. Recording sessions for the album took place during May to September 2009 at the Oven Studios in Long Island, New York. Production was primarily handled by Keys, Kerry Brothers Jr., and Jeff Bhasker. Departing from the classicist soul music of Keys' previous albums, The Element of Freedom has a mid-tempo, low-key sound and features mostly love songs.

The album serves as the follow-up to 2008's Safe Trip Home. Recording for the album began in 2009 and ended in 2012, taking place at studios in London and California. Dido served as a co-producer for the album and enlisted help from a variety of producers including Jeff Bhasker, Jon Brion, Greg Kurstin, Rick Nowels, Plain Pat, Rollo, among others. Musically the album is a pop album with elements of electropop and trip hop.
Hopeless Fountain Kingdom is the second studio album by American singer-songwriter Halsey. It was released on June 2, 2017, through Astralwerks. The album features guest appearances from Quavo, Lauren Jauregui and Cashmere Cat. Halsey co-wrote every song on the album, while production was handled by Lido and Benny Blanco, among others. Following its release, Hopeless Fountain Kingdom debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 albums chart in the United States and the Canadian Albums Chart. The album was also certified 2× Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) in the US. In support of the album, Halsey embarked on the Hopeless Fountain Kingdom Tour (2017–2018). The album was described by Halsey as having more "radio friendly music" when compared to her previous releases. As a result, Hopeless Fountain Kingdom is primarily a pop and R&B record and features synth-pop and electropop.
Staying at Tamara's is the second studio album by English singer-songwriter George Ezra. It was released on 23 March 2018. The album was recorded at The Church Studios in London with producer Paul Epworth. The album was supported by three singles, "Guiding Light", "Beloved", and "Woman", and managed to reach number one on the US Billboard 200 and number two on the UK Albums Chart. Delta was their last album with guitarist and banjoist Winston Marshall before his departure in 2021.
