Super 4 is a weekend Malayalam musical reality show which airs on Mazhavil Manorama and streams on ManoramaMAX. [1] [2]

Format

The musical extravaganza consisted of 16 singers from all over India, screened and chosen after several rounds of auditions. The highlight of the show is that the contestants choose one of the judges to be their captain who would groom them during their journey in the show.

Season 1

The season consisted of 16 contestants who were selected from auditions across Kerala. The season was judged by a panel of four. [3] The contestants were divided into four groups, each led a judge. Shweta, Vyshakhan, Sreehari and Dev Prakash were the finalists. [4] The season lasted from 4 February 2018 and to 22 October 2018.

Season 2

The channel launched the Season 2 on 29 August 2020. The format of the show is there is total of 16 contestants and they equally divide 16 contestants into four groups named Vidhuannan jagajillies, Rimu jagajillies, Sithumani jagajillies and Jobaby jagajillies.[ clarification needed ]. Show went off on October 10, 2021 by Grand Finale.

The channel launched Season 3 exclusively for kids as a sequel to Super 4 Junior vs. Seniors tiltles Super 4 Juniors from 16 October 2021 to 10 April 2022.

Star Singer is an Indian music reality television competition, broadcast on Asianet and the show, which selected contestants in the age group of 15–35 years compete based on their skill in singing and entertainment. From season 1 to 7, text messages were sent by the shows' audience to vote for the best-performing participant and a small weightage of this score was considered for a candidate to be shortlisted to next round. In Season 8, voting was conducted on Disney+ Hotstar, Star Network's official OTT platform. Airtel Super Singer Junior Ithu Thamizhagathin Chellakuralukkana Thedal – is a reality TV show since February 2007 hosted by Vijay TV, a popular Tamil channel of the Star Network, and sponsored by Bharti Airtel. It is a singing talent hunt for the children of age group 6–15. This is the junior version of the Airtel Super Singer show, which premiered on 28 April 2006. Auditions are held in various parts of Tamil Nadu, India. The show attracts many kids from all over the state and rigorous multi-level selection procedures are done in order to select the contestants for the competition. The tenth season is set to launch very soon.

<i>Top Singer</i> (TV series) Indian TV series or programme

Top Singer is an Indian Malayalam-language reality television singing competition show broadcast on Flowers, created and directed by Sindhu Sreedhar. The show features 22 contestants, all under the age of 15. Esther Anil hosted the show for the first 49 episodes. After co-hosting the 50th episode with Meenakshi Anoop, Meenakshi took over as the sole host. M. G. Sreekumar, M. Jayachandran(Season 1 and 2) and Sharreth(Season 3 and 4) form the permanent judging panel, with guest musicians, singers or composers. Top Band is the orchestra of the show.
