TRYP by Wyndham (formerly branded as TRYP) is a brand of independently owned hotels and a subsidiary of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts.

History

Wyndham acquired TRYP in 2010, [2] and has been promoting the brand internationally. [3] [4] As of December 31, 2018, it had 110 properties with 15,519 rooms. [1] The brand is hosted by Spanish chain Mélia in Europe. [5]

Rezidor Hotel Group AB, originally SAS International Hotels A/S and then Rezidor SAS Hospitality A/S, Rezidor SAS Hospitality Group AB (publ), was a listed hotel group company. Originally founded by Scandinavian conglomerate SAS Group as a hotel in 1960, it became a listed company in 2006. The global headquarters of Rezidor relocated to Brussels, Belgium, circa 1989. Diamond Resorts is a wholly owned subsidiary of Hilton Grand Vacations. Diamond Resorts was an independent timeshare and vacation ownership company until it was purchased by HGV in 2021. Following the purchase, Diamond's resorts became part of HGV's resort portfolio, and Diamond itself became a brand and subsidiary of HGV. The majority of Diamond Resorts have been or will be rebranded as Hilton vacation Club properties, however the original brand will continue to exist as some resorts are slated to retain the Diamond Resorts name.
