The North Seberang Perai District is an administrative district on the mainland part of Penang State, Malaysia. It covers an area of 267 square kilometres, and had a population of 286,323 at the 2010 Census. The district is bordered by Muda River in the north which separates Kuala Muda district in Kedah, Kedah state border in the east which separates Kulim district, Perai River in the south which separates Central Seberang Perai and North Channel which separates Penang Island. Chitrangudi Bird Sanctuary locally known as "Chitrangudi Kanmoli" is a .4763 km2 (0.1839 sq mi) Protected area declared in 1989 and a part of Chitrangudi village, Mudukulathur Taluk, Ramanathapuram District, Tamil Nadu, India. It is adjacent to Kanjirankulam Bird Sanctuary. It is notable as a nesting site for several migratory heron species that roost in the prominent growth of Babul trees there. International name: Chitragudi and Kanjirankulam Bird Sanctuary, IBA Code: IN261, Criteria: A1, A4i. The sanctuary has been designated as a protected Ramsar site since 2021.

Tasek Gelugor is a suburb of Seberang Perai in the Malaysian state of Penang. Within its vicinity it is the town closest to the North–South Expressway. The expressway sign for the Ipoh-George Town link can be seen in this town.

He served as Chairman of the Perbadanan Tabung Pendidikan Tinggi Nasional (PTPTN) from June 2018 to June 2022 and Special Advisor to the Minister of Education Maszlee Malik from May to November 2018. He is a member of the Malaysian United Indigenous Party (BERSATU), a component party of the Perikatan Nasional (PN) and formerly Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalitions and was a member of the Conservative Party of the United Kingdom and the Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS), a component party of formerly the Gagasan Rakyat (GS) coalition. He joined BERSATU in February 2018. He also served as the Deputy Chairman of the Strategy and Policy Bureau of BERSATU from March 2018 to August 2020 and the 3rd Information Chief of BERSATU from August 2020 to his resignation in February 2023.

Ramathibodi Hospital Halt is a railway halt in Ratchathewi District, Bangkok. It is served by most commuter and ordinary trains coming to and from Bangkok Hua Lamphong station and one from Rangsit. This halt is located about 3.5 kilometres (2.2 mi) from Bangkok Station and was opened in 2007 to serve the adjacent Ramathibodi Hospital and Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University. It is located next to Chitralada railway station for the Chitralada Royal Villa, which is only used by the Royal Family in traveling by train.

Mohd Shariff bin Omar is a Malaysian politician. He had served Member of Parliament of Tasek Gelugor from 1990 to 1995 and 1999 to 2004. He was a member of UMNO, a component party of Barisan Nasional (BN). He currently is a member of BERSATU, a component party of Perikatan Nasional (PN).
