Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) or Malayan Railway Limited, colloquially referred to simply as KTM, is the main rail operator in Peninsular Malaysia. The railway system dates back to the British colonial era, when it was first built to transport tin. Previously known as the Federated Malay States Railways (FMSR) the Malayan Railway Administration (MRA), and the Malayan Railway, Keretapi Tanah Melayu acquired its current name in 1962. The organisation was corporatised in 1992, but remains wholly owned by the Malaysian government.
KTM Komuter is a commuter rail system in Malaysia operated by Keretapi Tanah Melayu (KTM). It was introduced in 1995 to provide local rail services in Kuala Lumpur and the surrounding Klang Valley suburban areas. Services were later expanded to other parts of Malaysia with the introduction of the Northern and Southern sectors.
Rail transport in Malaysia consists of heavy rail, light rapid transit (LRT), mass rapid transit (MRT), monorails, airport rail links and a funicular railway line. Heavy rail is mostly used for intercity services and freight transport as well as some urban public transport, while rapid transit rails are used for intracity urban public transport in the capital city of Kuala Lumpur and the surrounding Klang Valley region. There are two airport rail link systems linking Kuala Lumpur with the Kuala Lumpur International Airport and Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport. The longest monorail line in the country is also used for public transport in Kuala Lumpur, while the only funicular railway line is available in Penang.
The KTM Tanjung Malim–Port Klang Line, formerly known as the Port Klang Line is one of the three KTM Komuter Central Sector lines provided by Keretapi Tanah Melayu. The electric trains run between Tanjung Malim and Port Klang. Prior to 15 December 2015, the northern terminus of this line was Batu Caves.

The Kepong Sentral Komuter station is a railwaystation located in Kepong, Selangor, Malaysia. It is part of the Tanjung Malim–Port Klang Line, and also provides KTM ETS services. Situated just beside this station is the Kuala Lumpur Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2).

The Rasa Komuter station is a Malaysian commuter train station stationed at the northern side of and named after the town of Rasa, Hulu Selangor, Selangor. The station was opened on April 21, 2007, alongside the Batang Kali and Serendah stations. It was the third stop in the Rawang-Tanjung Malim shuttle service until the service was merged with the Port Klang Line in 2016.
The Batang Kali Komuter station is a Malaysian commuter train station stationed at the northwest of and named after the town of Batang Kali, Hulu Selangor, Selangor. The station was opened on April 21, 2007, alongside the Rasa and Serendah stations.
The Serendah Komuter station is a Malaysian commuter train station stationed roughly two kilometres northwest from the town of Serendah, Selangor. The station is located on the KTM West Coast Line.
The Kuala Kubu Bharu railway station is a Malaysian train station stationed at the northern side of and named after the town of Kuala Kubu Bharu, Selangor. The station provides both Komuter and ETS services. The station was opened on January 5, 2008. The station replaced the Kuala Kubu Road railway station approximately 2.5 km northwest.

Gemas railway station is a Malaysian railway station located at the eastern side of and named after the town of Gemas, Tampin District, Negeri Sembilan. The KTM Komuter Northern Sector is one of the five KTM Komuter services run by Malaysian rail operator Keretapi Tanah Melayu (KTM). The service was introduced on 11 September 2015 following the completion of the Ipoh-Padang Besar Electrification and Double-Tracking Project in December 2014, which also saw the extension of ETS services to Padang Besar from Ipoh.
The KTM KL Sentral–Terminal Skypark Line is a currently suspended limited express train service in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia between Kuala Lumpur Sentral and Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport. It is Malaysia's second airport rail link service, after the Express Rail Link system.
