The film is set at Lockbridge Academy, an isolated school on the coast, run by a powerful aristocratic Aberdeen family, who are hiding a dark secret. Eddie, a mute who is burdened with caring for his cruel, ailing mother and who is on the cusp of losing their home, takes a caretaker position at the school. There, he meets Marie, sparking and instant connection that will alter the trajectory of his life, while unravelling a sinister mystery lurking within the school that could shatter the Aberdeen family legacy forever.
Liz Rogers, Dave Morris, Emma Graveling, Noah Carr-Kingsnorth, Hector Baldwin, Heather Cairnes and Alice Corrigan also feature in supporting roles.
