The eighth season of Indonesian Idol, also known as Indonesian Idol 2014: A Decade of Dreams, premiered on RCTI on December 27, 2013. Anang Hermansyah and Ahmad Dhani returned as the judges. Agnes Monica was replaced by Tantri of Kotak, and Titi DJ, who returned to the show for her sixth season after her absence in season 6 and 7. Raisa and Indra Lesmana replace Titi and Anang during the Yogyakarta auditions. Later during the Spectacular weeks, Raisa replaced Titi during the Top 9 performances and Tantri during the Top 5. Ananda Omesh, born Ananda Rusdiana is an Indonesian actor, comedian, and presenter. He is known for his work on the Trans TV variety show Extravaganza. He also has worked as a presenter on television shows such as 60 Minutes, Insert Pagi, Indonesia Mencari Bakat, and Missing Lyrics.
The second season of the Indonesian reality talent show The Voice Indonesia premiered February 26, 2016 on the RCTI network in the 9:00 p.m, slot immediately following Tukang Bubur Naik Haji The Series. This is the first aired by RCTI, after the previous broadcaster Indosiar dropped the show after its first one season due to poor ratings. Television personality and Indonesian Idol host Daniel Mananta was appointed as the show's new host, with Ari Lasso, Agnez Mo, Kaka "Slank", and Judika selected as coaches. Coach Ariel "Noah" served as an advisor for all teams during the knockout rounds. The winner of the knockout rounds received a 1 billion rupiahs recording contract with Universal Music Indonesia and a Toyota Yaris AT. The show aired Fridays and Saturdays at 9:00 p.m. Starting on April 1, the show aired every Friday at 9:00 p.m.
The eighth season of the Dutch reality singing competition The Voice of Holland premiered on 20 October 2017 on RTL4. Hosts Martijn Krabbé, Wendy van Dijk, and Jamai Loman all returned, as did Sanne Hans, Waylon, and Ali B as coaches, while season 7 coach Guus Meeuwis was replaced with Anouk, who served as a coach on season 6.

The first season of the Philippine reality singing competition The Voice Teens premiered on April 16, 2017 on ABS-CBN. The fifth season of The Voice of Vietnam began on May 20, 2018. The coaching panel this season consists of returning coaches Thu Phương, Tóc Tiên, Noo Phước Thịnh; and former The Voice Kids coach Lam Trường.

Gwen Stefani, who last coached in the twelfth season in 2017, returned after a four season-hiatus, replacing Adam Levine. The seventh season of The Voice Kids of Vietnam – Giọng hát Việt nhí began on 20 July 2019 on VTV3. All three duo coaches and the main host did not return, leaving the panel to be entirely renewed this season. On 12 June 2019, it was announced that former host and The Voice season 4 Ali Hoàng Dương would return, this time as a coach alongside former music executive Lưu Thiên Hương as a new duo coach; whereas former coach Dương Khắc Linh would return with singer Phạm Quỳnh Anh. Musician Dương Cầm and 2018 Miss International Queen Hương Giang joined the show as a new duo coach, while actresses Gil Lê and Khả Ngân also debuted as hosts. The previous season's coach, Hồ Hoài Anh, once again became the show's music executive.
The fourth season of the Indonesian reality singing competition The Voice Indonesia premiered on August 29, 2019, on GTV. Armand Maulana, Titi DJ, Anindyo Baskoro and Vidi Aldiano all returned as coaches from the previous season, whereas Isyana Sarasvati debuted as a new coach, replacing Anggun. Ananda Omesh returned for his second season as host, alongside Gracia Indri, who replaced Astrid Tiar.
Tiara Anugrah Eka Setyo Andini is an Indonesian singer and actress. She was the runner-up of the tenth season of Indonesian Idol which was broadcast by RCTI in 2019–2020. In Idol, she was known as the girl who received a titanium ticket from one of the judges. She is the only titanium ticket recipient to ever make it through to the final round in the history of Indonesian Idol. She was awarded the "Best Newcomer" from 23rd Anugerah Musik Indonesia Awards, and "Best New Asian Artist Indonesia" from 2020 Mnet Asian Music Awards. She also won the SCTV Music Awards for two consecutive years as "Most Popular Female Singer" in 2022 and 2023. She was nominated for the 2023 MTV Europe Music Awards as Best Asia act.
