The UK Women's Athletics League is a track and field athletics competition for teams of women. It is the women's equivalent of the men's British Athletics League and is the pinnacle of British athletic clubs league system.
The UK Women's Athletics League was inaugurated in 1975. [1] In 2015 it consisted of four divisions, with up to 32 teams from across the United Kingdom.
There are four different divisions (Premier, Division 1, Division 2 and Division 3). Each of them has eight teams in competition, except the Division 3, with only seven teams. Every season there is a total of three matches to decide the division standings, two teams are relegated and two teams promoted for every division. In September each year a qualifying match shall be held and the leading two clubs in that match shall compete in Division 3 the following season. The qualifying match shall involve the highest placed club which wishes to compete, from each of the regional Scottish, Northern, Midland, Southern and Welsh leagues.

The Cymru Premier, known as the JD Cymru Premier for sponsorship reasons, is the national football league of Wales. It has both professional and semi-professional status clubs and is at the top of the Welsh football league system. Prior to 2002, the league was known as the League of Wales (LoW), but changed its name as part of a sponsorship deal to the Welsh Premier League. The league was rebranded as the Cymru Premier for the 2019–20 season.
The National League is an association football league in England consisting of three divisions, the National League, National League North, and National League South. The Israeli Premier League, is a professional association football league which operates as the highest division of the Israeli Football League – the state's league of Israel. The league is contested by 14 clubs, and operates on a system of promotion and relegation with its second division Liga Leumit. Seasons run from August to May, with teams playing between 33 and 36 matches each, totalling 240 matches in every season.

Leigh Sports Village is an £83 million multi-use sports, retail and housing development in Leigh, Greater Manchester, England. The centrepiece of the development is a 12,000-capacity stadium which is home to professional rugby league team Leigh Leopards, Manchester United's under-19 and under-23 teams, and Manchester United W.F.C. The complex also plays host to amateur rugby league club Leigh East and amateur athletics club Leigh Harriers, who both occupy dedicated facilities on the site. The Canadian Championship is an annual soccer tournament contested by Canadian professional teams. The winner is awarded the Voyageurs Cup and a berth in CONCACAF Champions Cup. It is contested by Major League Soccer sides Toronto FC, Vancouver Whitecaps FC, and CF Montréal, eight Canadian Premier League sides, and the champions of League1 Ontario, League1 British Columbia, and Ligue1 Québec. Women's association football in Scotland has an organised history including the first international women's match in 1881, the president of the British Ladies' Football Club in 1895, Lady Florence Dixie, the Edinburgh–Preston "World Championship" in 1937 and 1939, and the Scottish Women's Cup founded in 1970. The Scottish Premiership was established in July 2013, after the SPFL was formed by a merger of the Scottish Premier League and Scottish Football League. There are 12 teams in this division, with each team playing 38 matches per season. Sixteen clubs have played in the Scottish Premiership since its creation in the 2013–14 season. Celtic are the current league champions, having won the 2022–23 Scottish Premiership.
Lorraine Ugen is an English long jumper and occasional 100 m sprinter with respective personal bests of 7.05 m and 11.32 s. Ugen competed for Great Britain at the 2016 Olympics in Rio in the long jump, finishing in eleventh place.

City of Sheffield & Dearne Athletic Club is an athletics club based in Sheffield, England. It is based at the Sheffield Hallam University City Athletics Stadium. The club competes in the British Athletics League Premiership and Northern Athletics League Division 1. The Young Athletes compete in the National Youth Development League. The Upper and Lower Age Group teams compete in the Northern East Premier Division.
Blackheath & Bromley Harriers AC is an athletics club based in South-East London, England. It is based at the Hayes Lane, Bromley, Kent. It competes in division one of the British Athletics League, the premier division of the UK Women's Athletic League and the Southern Athletic League.
