History

The station went on the air as WLVS on March 1, 1987. On March 15, 2000, the station changed its call sign to the current WWRF. [4]

On December 8, 2024, WWRF dropped its Spanish contemporary format and began stunting with Christmas music. [5]

On December 25, 2024, at 1 p.m., on Christmas day, WWRF flipped to a variety hits as "94.7 & 96.9 Jack FM". [6]
