Gwembe District is a district of Zambia, located in Southern Province. The capital now lies at Munyumbwe (the capital was formerly Gwembe Town). As of the 2016 Zambian Census, the district had a population of 53,117 people. [1]
Copperbelt Province is a province in Zambia which covers the mineral-rich Copperbelt, and farming and bush areas to the south. It was the backbone of the Northern Rhodesian economy during British colonial rule and fuelled the hopes of the immediate post-independence period, but its economic importance was severely damaged by a crash in global copper prices in 1973. The province adjoins the Haut-Katanga province of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, which is similarly mineral-rich.
Livingstone is a city in Zambia. Until 2012, it served as the capital of Southern Province. Lying 10 km (6.2 mi) to the north of the Zambezi River, it is a tourism center for the Victoria Falls and a border town with road and rail connections to Zimbabwe on the other side of the Victoria Falls. A historic British colonial city, its present population was enumerated at 134,349 inhabitants at the 2010 census. It is named after David Livingstone, the Scottish explorer and missionary who was the first European to explore the area.
Southern Province is one of Zambia's ten provinces, and home to Zambia's premier tourist attraction, Mosi-oa-Tunya, shared with Zimbabwe. The centre of the province, the Southern Plateau, has the largest area of commercial farmland of any Zambian province, and produces most of the maize crop.

The Tonga people of Zambia and Zimbabwe are a Bantu ethnic group of southern Zambia and neighbouring northern Zimbabwe, and to a lesser extent, in Mozambique. They are related to the Batoka who are part of the Tokaleya people in the same area, but not to the Tonga people of Malawi. In southern Zambia they are patrons of the Kafue Twa. They differ culturally and linguistically from the Tsonga people of South Africa and southern Mozambique.
Gwembe is a small town in Southern Province of Zambia with a population of about 2000 people. It is the largest town in Gwembe District which on Lake Kariba between Siavonga and Sinazongwe Districts. It used to be the district headquarters until it moved to Munyumbwe some 30 km east of the town.
The T1 or Lusaka–Livingstone Road is the main highway of the Southern Province of Zambia. It begins 55 kilometres south of the city of Lusaka and heads south-west to the principal tourist destination, Victoria Falls in Livingstone, Southern Africa, measuring approximately 430 kilometres (267 mi). The entire route is part of Trans-African Highway network number 4 or Cairo-Cape Town Highway between Cairo and Cape Town.
Kalabo District is a district of Zambia, located in Western Province. The capital lies at Kalabo. As of the 2000 Zambian Census, the district had a population of 114,806 people. The district has 3 Secondary Schools namely Kalabo Secondary School, Nalionwa Day School and Lukona Secondary School, of which Kalabo Secondary School is the main school established in 1966. The district has attractive places that attract tourists, places like the liuwa national Park, and Yuka Seventh-day Adventist Hospital.The main Hospital in the district is Kalabo District Hospital seconded by Yuka Seventh-day Adventist Hospital, Yuka is sometimes referred to as UK.
Mkushi District is a district of Zambia, located in Central Province. The capital lies at Mkushi. As of the 2010 Zambian Census, the district had a population of 148,814 people. The Great North Road runs through Mkushi district, connecting Kapiri Mposhi and Serenje districts. The area is largely undeveloped and home to numerous natural attractions including Lunsemfwa Wonder Gorge, Changwena Falls, and historic Fort Elwes.
Mumbwa District is a district of Zambia, located in Central Province. The capital lies at Mumbwa. As of the 2010 Zambian Census, the district had a population of 218,328 people. It consists of two constituencies, namely Mumbwa and Nangoma.
