The 1929 Macdonald Brier , the Canadian men's national curling championship, was held from February 26 [1] to March 1, 1929 [2] at the Granite Club in Toronto, Ontario. [3]

Team Manitoba won their second consecutive Briar Tankard with Gordon Hudson as skip finishing round robin play undefeated. This was the first time a team went unbeaten in a single Brier. Hudson also became the first skip to win back-to-back Brier championships.

Geoff Walker is a Canadian curler, currently living in Edmonton, Alberta. He currently plays lead for the Brad Gushue rink. Walker was a two-time World Junior Champion when he won gold in 2006 and 2007.

This edition of the Brier would be the first, with it also being the first time it was hosted in Ontario, and the first time it was hosted in Toronto's Granite Club.
