Ice hockey at the 2002 Winter Olympics was held at the E Center in West Valley City and Peaks Ice Arena in Provo, Utah. The men's and women's tournaments were won by Canada, who defeated the host United States in both finals.

The 2010 FIFA World Cup qualification competition was a series of tournaments organised by the six FIFA confederations. The curling competitions of the 2022 Winter Olympics are being held at the Beijing National Aquatics Centre, one of the Olympic Green venues. Curling competitions are scheduled for every day of the games, from February 2 to February 20. This is the eighth time that curling is part of the Olympic program.
