The 2013 StuSells Oakville Tankard was held from September 5 to 8 in Oakville, Ontario as part of the 2013–14 World Curling Tour. Both the men's and women's events were held in a round robin format. The purse for the men's event was CAD$34,000, of which the winner, Brad Jacobs, received CAD$8,000, [1] while the purse for the women's event was CAD$24,000, of which the winner, Sherry Middaugh, received CAD$5,000. Jacobs successfully defended his title by defeating Kevin Koe with a score of 4–3, while Middaugh defeated Cathy Auld with a score of 5–4 in an extra end.

John Allan Epping is a Canadian curler from Toronto, Ontario. He currently skips his own team out of the Leaside Curling Club in East York, Toronto.

The Stu Sells Tankard, previously known as the Stu Sells Toronto Tankard, is an annual bonspiel, or curling tournament, that takes place at the Barrie Curling Club in Barrie, Ontario. The event is held in a round-robin format, however, was held in a triple-knockout format for many years. The tournament is sponsored by Stu Sells, a local real estate company, and is part of the "Stu Sells Series" or events, which includes the Stu Sells Oakville Tankard, the Stu Sells 1824 Halifax Classic, and a number of other junior and local tour events. The men's event became a World Curling Tour event in 2011, but was later discontinued after the 2019 edition. The women's event became a World Curling Tour event in 2016, but was also discontinued in 2020. Both the men's and women's events are also part of the Ontario Curling Tour.

The 2012 StuSells Toronto Tankard was held from October 5 to 8 at the High Park Club in Toronto, Ontario as part of the 2012–13 World Curling Tour. The event was held in a triple knockout format for the men's event, and in a round robin format for the women's event. The purse for the men's event was CAD$45,000, and the winner, Jeff Stoughton, received CAD$15,000. The purse for the women's event was CAD$15,000, and the winner, Mary-Anne Arsenault, received CAD$5,000. Stoughton defeated Joe Frans in the men's final with a score of 6–2, while Arsenault defeated Lisa Farnell in the women's final with a score of 7–2.

The event was held in a round robin format. The purse for the men's event was CAD$15,000, of which the winner, Al Hackner, received CAD$5,000, and the purse for the women's event was CAD$6,000. Hackner defeated Craig Kochan in the men's final with a score of 7–5, while Krista McCarville defeated Ashley Kallos in the women's final with a score of 5–2.
