The 2023 Nigerian Senate elections in Yobe State will be held on 25 February 2023, to elect the 3 federal Senators from Yobe State, one from each of the state's three senatorial districts. The elections will coincide with the 2023 presidential election, as well as other elections to the Senate and elections to the House of Representatives; with state elections being held two weeks later. Primaries were held between 4 April and 9 June 2022.
In the previous Senate elections, only one of the three incumbent senators was returned with Bukar Ibrahim (APC-East) retiring while Mohammed Hassan (PDP-South) was unseated in the general election. In the South district election, Ibrahim Mohammed Bomai (APC) defeated Hassan with 56% of the vote while Ibrahim Gaidam held the East district for the APC with 88%. In the East district, Ahmad Lawan (APC) won re-election with just 72% of the vote. The senatorial results were a continuation of APC control in the state as the party also gained won all House of Representatives seats, won a majority in the House of Assembly, and won the gubernatorial election along with Buhari winning the state in the presidential election.

Yobe is a state located in northeastern Nigeria. A mainly agricultural state, it was created on 27 August 1991. Yobe State was carved out of Borno State. The capital of Yobe State is Damaturu, and its largest and most populated city is Potiskum. While by Land is Fune, potiskum Local Government Area is a place of Farmers and marketers, the largest cattle market in Africa is located in potiskum.
Bukar Abba Ibrahim (1949) was the governor of Yobe State in Nigeria from 29 May 1999 to 29 May 2007. He also served as governor of the state from January 1992 to November 1993. He is a member of the All Nigeria People's Party (ANPP).
Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan is a Nigerian politician and professor who served as the 14th president of the Nigerian Senate from 2019 to 2023. He represents the Yobe North Senatorial District in the Senate as a member of the All Progressives Congress.
Ibrahim Gaidam is a Nigerian politician who is the incumbent Minister of Police Affairs. During the 2023 General election, he was re-elected the Senator representing the Yobe East Senatorial District within the state of Yobe. He was the immediate past governor of Yobe State, succeeded by the Former APC National Secretary, Mai Mala Buni on 29 May 2019.
Ibrahim Mohammed Bomai is a Nigerian politician. He currently serves as the Senator representing Yobe South Senatorial District in the 10th National Assembly. He was initially elected in 2019 and was subsequently reelected in the 2023 Yobe South Senatorial District Election.
