• February 6 – The U.S. Court of Appeals in Washington, D.C. rules that former president Donald Trump does not have presidential immunity and can therefore be prosecuted for allegedly attempting to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election. ^[1]
• February 25 – Self-immolation of Aaron Bushnell: An active-duty United States Air Force member sets himself on fire outside the Israeli embassy in Washington, D.C. as a form of protest against the Israeli invasion of the Gaza Strip and dies later that day. ^[2]
