Ahuacuotzingo is a city and seat of the Ahuacuotzingo Municipality, in the state of Guerrero, south-western Mexico. [1] Ahuacuotzingo is known in the region as one of the most important producers of maize.
Ahuacuotzingo is one of the 81 municipalities of Guerrero, in south-western Mexico. The municipal seat lies at Ahuacuotzingo. The municipality covers an area of 388.4 km².
The Los Rojos Cartel is a Mexican criminal organization that emerged as a split from the Beltran-Leyva Cartel, being led at first by brothers Arturo "El Barbas" and Héctor "El Ingeniero", Alfredo "El Mochomo" and Jésus Nava Romero "El Rojo", hence the name of the group. The group also has an important participation in drug trafficking to the United States.
