Amba is a village in Mayureswar I CD Block in Rampurhat subdivision of Birbhum district, West Bengal, India. Amba is a ward of Mollarpur and also a mouza. Here a primary school, an anganwari centre at Amba. It is Mollarpur III/XII. [1]

There is a Vanavasi Kalyan Ashram Hostel near Amba at mollarpur beside Ramkrishna ashram. [2] It is under Mollarpur police station. [3]

At the 2011 Census, Amba village had 339 families and a population of 1430 of which 715 were males while 715 were females In Amba village population of children with age 0-6 was 165 which makes up 11.54% of total population of village.
