Basketligaen Norge, better known as BLNO is Norway's premier professional men's basketball league. It was established in 2000. The competition is organised by the Norwegian Basketball Federation (NBBF).

The league is widely recognised as the top-tier league in Europe. The league consists of 18 teams, of which 16 are given long-term licences and wild cards, making the league a semi-closed league. The league was first organized by FIBA in 1958, and by Euroleague Basketball after its formation in 2000.

Norway mens national basketball team

The Norway men's national basketball team represents Norway in international basketball tournaments. The national team is administered by the Norwegian Basketball Federation.

Bærum Basket, also known as Bærum Basket Bekkestua, is a professional basketball team based in Bærum, Norway, currently participating in the BLNO, Norway's premier basketball league. It is owned by Knut Ola Staver. The club was founded in the year of 1963 as Bærum Basketball Club, commonly referred to as simply Bærum BBK. Bærum is historically known to be one of the most successful teams in the BLNO, tied with Asker Aliens B.C. for the most league championships. Bærum Basket has won 4 BLNO league championships and 1 Norwegian Cup dating back to the creation of the BLNO league.

Sander Gard Bolin Berge is a Norwegian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for EFL Championship club Sheffield United and the Norwegian national team. Berge is a product of Asker's youth academy.

The 2019–20 BLNO was the 20th season of the Basketball League of Norway since its establishment. Kongsberg Miners were the defending champions.

The club was founded as Stord Turn og idrettslag on 30 March 1914, and today it has sections for athletics, basketball, gymnastics, handball, football, orienteering, volleyball, skiing, speed skating and swimming.
