The Thomas Hart Benton Home and Studio State Historic Site is a state-owned property located at 3616 Belleview, Kansas City, Missouri, that preserves the house and studio of Missouri artist Thomas Hart Benton. The historic site was established in 1977 and is managed by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources. Tours are provided that show the furnished house and studio as Benton left it when he died on January 19, 1975. The site was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
Stone Chapel is a historic chapel located on the southwest edge of the Drury University campus, at the corner of Central and Benton Avenue at Springfield, Greene County, Missouri. It was built in 1880 and is the oldest stone structure in Springfield. The chapel is the location for a number of religious activities for Drury University, such as the LOGOS Christian Fellowship, Catholic Campus Ministries, and Chow and Chapel events, weddings, graduation Baccalaureate and other various secular activities.
Quinn Chapel AME Church, also known as Quinn Chapel of the A.M.E. Church, houses Chicago's oldest African-American congregation, formed by seven individuals as a nondenominational prayer group that met in the house of a member in 1844. In 1847, the group organized as a congregation of the African Methodist Episcopal Church, the first independent black denomination in the United States. They named the church for Bishop William Paul Quinn.

Built in 1869 as the North Public Market, it was acquired by the church in 1880. On October 16, 1974, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places. Its current pastor is Rev. Lori K. The church was built about 1845 and is a 1 1⁄2-story, wood-frame structure that is rectangular in plan with a gable roof and clapboard exterior. The manse was built in 1915 and is a 2-story, wood-frame structure, with a two-by-two-bay square plan.
