Professionals working in the area of television drama, both those who work at Globo and today are outside the broadcaster, complain that they do not receive for the use of their images in the representations on Canal Viva. For these professionals, although Viva belongs to Globosat and Grupo Globo, the company must pay the rights to the production cast, this would have been the subject of meetings of a group led by Antônio Fagundes, which aims to charge better working conditions. According to three actors listened to by Blog World TV, maintained by Fernando Oliveira of site R7, Viva buys the licensed content of Globo, and therefore should pay them. Since she is currently the employer of most of the actors and already remunerates them, a legal impasse is formed. However, Flávio Ricco's column consulted both Viva and Globo for answers. Globo has stated that everyone gets paid for reruns and that payments happen normally, Viva informs that it has no obligation to pay rights to authors, actors or other people involved, and justifies why: "Viva's license agreement is the content from TV Globo and other international suppliers or independent producers. We pay for the content. Vendors such as TV Globo, BBC, CBSG etc are responsible for paying the rights to their contractors".
