Cleburne Jersey Farm is a historic farmhouse in Spring Hill, Tennessee, USA.

History

The two-storey house was completed in 1872. [2] It was built McCoy Campbell. [2] It was named "Cleburne" in honor of General Patrick Cleburne, who served in the Confederate States Army during the American Civil War. [2]

It was the second Jersey cattle farm in the United States. [2]

Architectural significance

The house has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since November 22, 2000. [3]

Ailsa Farms United States historic place

Ailsa Farms, also known as Haledon Hall and Hobart Manor, is a historic place located in Wayne, Passaic County, New Jersey, United States. Ailsa Farms was purchased by the state of New Jersey in 1948 from the family of Garret Hobart, 24th vice president of the United States. It is now on the campus of William Paterson University. The original manor house, built in 1877, was the weekend retreat and summer residence of the Hobart family. It was greatly expanded in 1915 following a design by Paterson architect Fred Wesley Wentworth. Today the building is known as Hobart Manor and houses the university's Office of the President and Office of Institutional Advancement. Ailsa Farms was added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 30, 1976.

Cleburne County Farm Cemetery United States historic place

The Cleburne County Farm Cemetery is located at Plantation Drive East and Deer Run in Heber Springs, Arkansas. It is a small cemetery, with seventeen graves, ten of which have markers. It is surrounded by a chain-link fence, and there is a commemorative marker. The cemetery saw active use from 1896 to 1943, and is the only surviving element of the county's poor farm, which was used by the county to provide for its indigent population during that time.
