[3] An extant cemetery located near the former church has graves dating to the 1850s. The gravestones were assembled into a cairn in 1837, and a historical marker is located there. [6] [7]

Creek Bank had a population of about 75 in 1867, and a blacksmith shop, hotel, and general store were located there. A stage coach passed twice daily between Elora and Hollen. [5]

A school, Roman Catholic Separate School #6, was located at Creek Bank around 1870. [8]
