Grasston is a city in Kanabec County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 158 at the 2010 census. [4]
A post office called Grasston has been in operation since 1899. [5] The city derives its name from Grass Lake. [6]
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.95 square miles (2.46 km2), of which 0.91 square miles (2.36 km2) is land and 0.04 square miles (0.10 km2) is water. [7]
Minnesota State Highways 70 and 107 are the main routes in the community.

As of the census [9] of 2010, there were 158 people, 53 households, and 41 families living in the city. The population density was 173.6 inhabitants per square mile (67.0/km2). There were 63 housing units at an average density of 69.2 per square mile (26.7/km2). The racial makeup of the city was 98.1% White, 0.6% African American, 0.6% from other races, and 0.6% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.3% of the population.
There were 53 households, of which 47.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 62.3% were married couples living together, 9.4% had a female householder with no husband present, 5.7% had a male householder with no wife present, and 22.6% were non-families. 18.9% of all households were made up of individuals, and 5.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.98 and the average family size was 3.32.
