It includes several properties listed separately in the National Register of Historic Places, including the Abbeville County Courthouse and the Abbeville Opera House. The district was listed in National Register on September 14, 1972.
The Greenville Commercial Historic District in Greenville, Mississippi is a 7.3-acre (3.0 ha) historic district that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) in 1997.

The Renwick Building is a historic building located in downtown Davenport, Iowa, United States. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1983, and on the Davenport Register of Historic Properties since 2000. In 2020 it was included as a contributing property in the Davenport Downtown Commercial Historic District. It is known locally for the large painted sign on the north side of the building depicting the Bix 7 Road Race.

It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003. At the time of its nomination it consisted of 27 resources, which included 18 contributing buildings, one contributing object, and eight non-contributing buildings. The historic district exemplifies the importance transportation played in the development of the central business district.
Frank E. Wetherell was an American architect in the U.S. state of Iowa who was active from 1892 to 1931. He founded the second oldest architectural firm in the state in Des Moines, Iowa, in 1905. He worked with Roland Harrison in partnership Wetherell & Harrison. The firm designed numerous Masonic buildings.
The Rice Tobacco Factory is a historic tobacco factory located at 112 N. Cherry St. in Greenville, Kentucky. The factory was built in 1922 by S.E. Rice, whose S.E. Rice Company was founded in 1904. Tobacco had been Muhlenberg County's largest cash crop throughout the 19th century, and the region became known for its variety, called "Greenville Tobacco". The Rice factory, however, was the last building built in Greenville for tobacco production. It is now the only surviving commercial building connected to the city's tobacco industry. The property was acquired in March, 2018, and the new owner is in the process of a historic rehabilitation of the building.
The George Short House is a historic house located at 151 N. Main St. in Greenville, Kentucky. Built in the 1840s, the house is the oldest remaining home in Greenville and one of fewer than ten in the city from before the Civil War. The Greek Revival home features a two-story porch supported by columns, a transom and sidelights alongside the front door, and brick chimneys on either end of the structure.
The North Main Street Historic District is a historic district located along the 100 and 200 blocks of North Main Street in Greenville, Kentucky. The district includes 22 buildings, 20 of which are contributing buildings to the district's historic status. The primarily residential district is located just north of downtown Greenville. The houses within the district were mainly built in the early 20th century and designed in the Colonial Revival, Bungalow, and Queen Anne styles; an exception to this pattern is the George Short House, which was built in 1841 and is the oldest surviving house in the city. The district also includes the United Methodist Church, a Neoclassical church built in 1921.
The Broadway Bridge is a historic arch bridge that spans Greenville Creek on the edge of downtown Greenville, a city in the far western part of the U.S. state of Ohio. Constructed in the early twentieth century, it carries one of the city's most important streets and connects the city's northern and southern sections. One of several large concrete bridges designed by a Cleveland engineer, it has been named a historic site.

The district encompasses 40 contributing buildings constructed from ca. 1900 to ca. 1940, with the majority constructed between 1910 and 1930 in the central business district of Greer. They are largely two-story brick commercial structures. Notable buildings include the First National Bank of Greer, Planters Savings Bank, R. L. Merchant Building, Bailey Building, Bailes-Collins Department Store, and Davenport Building.
West End Commercial Historic District is a national historic district located at Greenville, South Carolina. It encompasses 15 contributing buildings in Greenville's second "downtown." The commercial buildings primarily date from about 1880 to 1920, and include examples of Victorian commercial architecture. Notable buildings include the American Bank, Alliance and Mills & McBayer Cotton Warehouses, Indian River Fruit Store, Pete's Place, Bacot's West End Drug Store/Stringer's Drug, Furman Lunch, and Greer Thompson Building.
The United States Post Office, also known as the Federal Building, is a historic post office building located at Greenville, Pitt County, North Carolina. It was designed by the Office of the Supervising Architect under the direction of Oscar Wenderoth and built in 1913–1914. It is a two-story, five bay, Florintine Renaissance style stuccoed brick building on a limestone base. It has a low hip roof of terra cotta tile with overhanging eaves. The front facade features a three-bay loggia formed by arches with voluted keystones, springing from Tuscan order columns. This building served as the main post office for Greenville until 1969. It currently serves as a U.S. Courthouse.

The Goedert Meat Market, also known as the Main Street Mall, is a historic building located in McGregor, Iowa, United States. The two-story, single-unit, brick building was completed in 1890 in the Italianate style. It maintains the only complete cast-iron storefront in town. The storefront was manufactured by Mesker Bros. Front Builders of St. Louis, Missouri. The facility dates from the time when all aspects of the meat business from slaughter, to processing, to sales were housed in one building. The New York-style meat market was built for John Goedert, who maintained his residence upstairs. By the turn of the 20th-century it housed Bergman's deli/butcher shop, and remained a butcher shop until 1944. The building was individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) in 1996. In 2002 it was listed as a contributing property in the McGregor Commercial Historic District.
Thomas Firth Lockwood was the name of two architects in the U.S. state of Georgia, the father and son commonly known as T. Firth Lockwood Sr. (1868-1920) and T. Firth Lockwood Jr. (1894-1963). Thomas Firth Lockwood Sr. came with his brother Frank Lockwood (1865-1935) to Columbus, Georgia, from New Jersey to practice architecture.
