Hawkes Children's Library is a historic library building in Cedartown, Georgia. Albert King Hawkes was a children's library and theater advocate from Atlanta who desired the libraries in Georgia's towns. This Hawkes Children's Library was designed by Neel Reid and built in 1921. It is now a museum operated by the Polk County Historical Society. [2] It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on November 24, 1980. It is located on South College Street.

The Hawkes Children's Library in West Point, Georgia was built in 1922. It is one of the Hawkes Children's Library buildings inspired and funded with support from Albert King Hawkes, who funded six children's libraries in rural towns throughout Georgia. The building is a work of architectural and engineering firm Robert & Co. and was constructed by Batson & Cook. It includes Colonial Revival and Georgian Revival architecture. The library was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.

Albert King Hawkes was an optometrist, inventor, and philanthropist and proponent of children's libraries in rural Georgia towns. Several Hawkes Children's Library buildings were constructed from his advocacy and charitable work. Some of the libraries included theaters. Hawkes planned to build 100 new libraries in Georgia. He helped fund several in his will. The Hawkes Children's Library of West Point and Hawkes Children's Library are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Rockmart Woman's Club is a historic building in Rockmart, Georgia. The club was organized in 1906 and became an affiliate of the Georgia Federation of Women's Clubs in 1913. In 1922, the club moved into the eponymous building designed by W. Roy Reece. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places In 1995. It is located on North Marble Street and is part of the Cedartown Waterworks-Woman's Building-Big Spring Park Historic District.
