"Human" is a song by British singer and songwriter Rag'n'Bone Man, co-written by Jamie Hartman, and produced by Two Inch Punch. [2] It was released as a digital download on 21 July 2016, through Sony Music [3] and Columbia Records. [4] The song is included on his debut studio album of the same name, released in February 2017.
"Human" was used as the theme music to two Amazon Prime streaming television shows, Oasis in 2017, and Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan in 2018. It was in the official launch trailer for the video game Mass Effect: Andromeda , [5] in the trailer for the 2017 film Thank You for Your Service , in the television series Inhumans , [6] and in the season 2 intro for the television series Into the Badlands . [7] The song was also used in an advertisement aired during Super Bowl LVII for the "He Gets Us" campaign, in the outro for the 9th episode of season 3 of Ash vs Evil Dead , and in the 16th episode of season 7 of the series Suits .
Cameron Adams of The Daily Telegraph compared the song to "Take Me to Church" by Hozier for both having an "instant impact, honest lyrics and throwback to ‘real’ music in a time of corporate pop." [8]
In 2018, the song won a Brit Award for British Single of the Year. [9]
Rag'n'Bone Man performed "Human" on Later... with Jools Holland on 20 September 2016. [10] He also performed the song on Australian talk show The Morning Show on 28 October 2016. [11] Another live performance of "Human" took place on The Graham Norton Show on 10 February 2017. [12] He appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on 16 February 2017. [13]
On 23 December 2016, the song reached number two on the UK Singles Chart, scoring the Christmas number two of 2016. The song was certified Platinum on 17 February 2017 and 2× Platinum 21 July 2017 by the BPI. [14] It has sold 1,269,000 combined units in the UK as of September 2017, which comprises 522,000 copies in actual sales and 75 million in streams. [15]
In the United States, the song reached at number one on the Billboard Alternative Songs Chart and number two on Rock Airplay. [16] It was certified Gold by the RIAA on 7 July 2017, [17] and has sold 324,000 copies in the US as of September 2017. [18] It is also Rag'n'Bone Man's only entry in the Billboard Hot 100 chart, as of 2022, and reached number 74 on a chart dated 27 May 2017.
The song had widespread chart success internationally, with it reaching the #1 spot on charts in more than 15 countries. As of September 2023, the music video has received 1.7 billion YouTube views. [19]

In December 2017, Australians hip hop beat boxer Tom Thum [129] and vocalist Ruel released a cover version with the backing track constructed exclusively from layers of Tom's vocal technique and Ruel singing over top. [130]

"Would I Lie to You?" is a song by American soul music duo Charles & Eddie. Written by Mick Leeson and Peter Vale, and produced by Josh Deutsch, it was released in August 1992 as the debut single from the duo's first album, Duophonic (1992). It proved to be their biggest hit and a major international success. The song reached number-one on the UK Singles Chart for two weeks in November 1992, and was also number one in New Zealand, Germany, Austria and Zimbabwe. It was a top five hit in several other European countries, while in Australia and Canada it went to number three. The single became a top 20 hit in the US, peaking at number 11 on the Cash Box Top 100 and number 13 on the Billboard Hot 100. It achieved award-winning sales, earning a platinum record in the UK, a gold record in both Germany and Austria and silver record award in France.
"Tuesday" is the debut single by American rapper ILoveMakonnen, released on September 1, 2014. The song, which was produced by frequent collaborators Sonny Digital and Metro Boomin, originally mixed by Justin Childs, and features guest vocals by Ousala Aleem and from Canadian rapper Drake, was released as the first single from his debut extended play (EP), ILoveMakonnen (2014). On March 4, 2015, "Tuesday" was certified platinum by the RIAA, with over 1 million sales. "Are You with Me" is a song by American country singer Easton Corbin. The song first appeared on Corbin's second studio album, All Over the Road (2012). It was later included on Corbin's third studio album, About to Get Real (2015). A remix by Belgian DJ Lost Frequencies was released in 2014, and in 2016 Corbin released the version from About to Get Real as a single of his own.
"Stole the Show" is a song by Norwegian DJ and record producer Kygo, featuring vocals from American singer Parson James. It was released on 23 March 2015, becoming a hit in a number of countries and the biggest commercial success of Kygo besides "Firestone". "Light It Up" is a song by American electronic music producing group Major Lazer, featuring vocals from Jamaican singer Nyla, which appears on Major Lazer's third studio album Peace Is the Mission. A remixed dancehall version of the song, to which additional vocals from British-Ghanaian Afrobeats artist Fuse ODG were added, was included on a re-released version of Peace Is the Mission and released as the album's third single overall on November 5, 2015.
"Faded" is a song by British-Norwegian record producer and DJ Alan Walker with vocals provided by Norwegian singer Iselin Solheim. The song was highly successful, peaking in the top 10 in most of the countries it charted in, and reached the top spot in more than 10 countries. As of June 2023, it is the 24th most viewed video on YouTube and also the 14th most viewed music video, with over 3.3 billion views, and was the first EDM track to hit 3 billion views. "Way Down We Go" is a song by Icelandic rock band Kaleo, released as the second single for their second studio album A/B by Elektra Records and Atlantic Records.
"This Girl" is a song by Australian funk trio Cookin' on 3 Burners, featuring vocals by Kylie Auldist, released on 22 June 2009 as the second single from the group's second album, Soul Messin.
