I Can See Your Voice franchise |
I Can See Your Voice is a Philippine television mystery music game show broadcast by ABS-CBN and Kapamilya Channel. The series based on the South Korean program of the same title. Hosted by Luis Manzano, it aired on the network's Yes Weekend line up from September 16, 2017 to July 14, 2024, replacing Lethal Weapon and was replaced by Rainbow Rumble .
Presented with a group of "mystery singers", [lower-alpha 1] the guest artist(s) must attempt to eliminate bad singers from the group without ever hearing them sing, assisted by clues and a celebrity panel (known as SING-vestigators) over the course of three rounds. At the end of a game, the last remaining mystery singer is revealed as either good or bad by means of a duet between them and one of the guest artists.
At the end of each round, the eliminated mystery singer gets a consolation prize starting with ₱5,000 for the first round, ₱10,000 for the second round, and ₱15,000 for the third round. If a singer is good, the guest artist(s) win an award (as Eyeward) [3] and he/she will compete at Tawag ng Tanghalan . The winning singer, regardless of being good (SEE-nger) or bad (SEE-ntunado), wins ₱25,000.
A local adaptation of I Can See Your Voice in the Philippines was first mentioned, as per report by BNT News at the time of its (South Korean) second season that premiered on October 22, 2015; [4] this was subsequently confirmed by ABS-CBN Corporation and Endemol Shine Group (nowadays Banijay Entertainment) in August 2017, including with production duties assigned by ABS-CBN Studios. [5] [6]
Filming of the show took place at ABS-CBN Broadcasting Center in Quezon City. [7] During the COVID-19 pandemic, it has filmed under implementing health and safety protocols since from third to fourth season. [8]
Also prior to the COVID-19 pandemic as well as the second broadcast shutdown, [9] [10] production (in the second season) was halted in March 2020. [11] [12]
I Can See Your Voice debuted on September 16, 2017, replacing Lethal Weapon . [lower-alpha 4] A second season premiered on August 10, 2019, [23] but it was prematurely ended on March 14, 2020. [11] [12] The third season made their airing debuts on Kapamilya Channel and A2Z on October 24, 2020, [24] [25] coinciding the debut of then-TV5's rival show Masked Singer Pilipinas . [26] [27] The fourth season premiere that initially scheduled for January 8, 2022, was occupied by a replay of 1MX Manila 2021; [28] it formally aired a week later. [29] A fifth season premiered on March 4, 2023, followed by its airing debut on TV5 a week later. [lower-alpha 4]

Similar to the original South Korean counterpart co-airings by Mnet and tvN, it is aired by (the interim) Kapamilya Channel and has been simulcasted by A2Z (from third to fifth season) and TV5 (for the fifth season). [lower-alpha 3] Outside of the Philippines, it is also aired on TFC through international transmissions. They are available for streaming on iWantTFC and Kapamilya Online Live through video on demand.
As a prelude to the show's first anniversary, a highlight special (subtitled Best Mode) was aired on September 9, 2018, [30] followed by Daniel Padilla playing on entire Kalokalike alumni as mystery singers on September 15, 2018. [31] [32] It also aired the first episodes featuring an entire lineup of celebrities (with TNT Boys), [33] [34] pairs (with Marcelito Pomoy), [35] [36] groups (with TJ Monterde and KZ Tandingan), [37] elderly (with Doris Bigornia), [38] [39] and foreigners (with Ethel Booba) [40] as mystery singers.
An in-game event I Can Guess Your Voice was conducted since from fourth to fifth season, in which viewers (acting as Home SING-vestigators) can use social media to predict the outcome of a winning mystery singer, either it was good or bad by means of a duet with one of the guest artists. [28] [29]
The series has a panel of celebrities who assist the guest artist(s) to decipher mystery singers' identities throughout the game.
