The Annual Indonesian Movie Actor Awards (formerly Indonesian Movie Awards) [1] [2] are annual awards that have been presented to filmmakers in Indonesia since 2007. The trophy given is called Piala Layar Emas. Winners in "Best" categories are selected by a jury, and winners in "Favorite" categories are selected by the public.

Most nominated

Until now, 7 Hati 7 Cinta 7 Wanita is the only film that has been nominated more than 15 times, which is 16 times. [3] Following behind is Arisan! 2 with 12 nominations and also there are four films with 11 nominations. Below are the films which has had a total number of nominations of 6 and above.

Most awards

The only film that received a total number of awards above five is Suddenly Dangdut. [4] Here are the films that have received at least three awards (films are sorted by year of release and alphabetically).

Cinta Laura is the first studio album by the German-born singer, Cinta Laura. The album was released on February 27, 2010 throughout Indonesia, produced by Jan Djuhana and labeled Sony Music Entertainment Indonesia. In this album, he brings the kind of dance-pop and electropop song. In all album sales in Indonesia, Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam, she was awarded 13 × platinum. The first single from this album "Cinta Atau Uang", released in December 2009. In this album, contains ten tracks which also included songs that had already been released as a soundtrack a movie or television series. In marketing this album, Cinta Laura and the record label working with KFC that this album will be circulated in all KFC stores in Indonesia. The album was nominated for "Best Pop Album of Solo" awards SCTV Music Awards 2011.

Melly Goeslaw

Melliana Cessy Goeslaw, better known by her stage name Melly Goeslaw, is an Indonesian singer, songwriter, composer, producer, writer and actress. She began singing while in the fifth grade, then began writing songs and took work as a backing vocalist for Elfa Secioria in high school. This led to her family and her moving to Jakarta to further her career. While providing backing vocals for a promotional tour by Katon Bagaskara, she met Anto Hoed and Andi Ayunir. After marrying Hoed, the three formed the band Potret in 1995. Their 1995 debut album was well received, bringing Goeslaw and her bandmates to fame. After releasing several albums with Potret, Goeslaw attempted to begin a solo career, releasing her self-titled debut album Melly in 1999. Although Melly sold well, she became more popular as a solo artist after providing the soundtrack for the 2002 hit film Ada Apa dengan Cinta? together with her husband. Her later releases include solo albums and soundtracks. In 2005, she released a collection of short stories to celebrate her tenth anniversary as a popular musician; four years later, she directed a concert to celebrate the bicentenary of Bandung city. As of 2011, she has written over 500 songs.

Nurkurniati Aisyah Dewi, better known as Nia Dinata, is an Indonesian film director. Her movies are known for tackling subjects controversial or "risky" in Indonesia such as homosexuality, migrant workers, and polygamy.

<i>7 Hati 7 Cinta 7 Wanita</i>

7 Hati 7 Cinta 7 Wanita is a 2011 Indonesian film. Written and directed by Robby Ertanto, it stars Jajang C. Noer, Marcella Zalianty, Happy Salma, Olga Lydia, Intan Kieflie, and Henky Solaiman. It follows the story of seven women connected through their obstetrician, Kartini. It was nominated for 6 awards at the 2010 Indonesian Film Festival as well as eight at the 2011 Indonesian Movie Awards, where it won two.

Dude Harlino, also spelled Dude Herlino, is an Indonesian actor. He is known for his numerous roles in soap operas, including Di Sini Ada Setan.

Oka Antara is an actor of Balinese descent. He is best known for starring in the films Sang Penari (2011), V/H/S/2 (2013), Killers (2014), and The Raid 2 (2014).

Reza Rahadian

Reza Rahadian Matulessy is an Indonesian actor who rose to prominence following his role in Perempuan Berkalung Sorban or (Woman with a Turban). Born in Bogor, he took up acting while in senior high school and made his feature film debut in 2004. Since receiving his first Piala Citra in 2009, he has acted in over a dozen films, ranging from comedies and romances to dramas and biopics.

The Citra Award for Best Leading Actress is an award given at the Indonesian Film Festival (IFF) to Indonesian actresses for their achievements in lead roles. The Citra Awards, described by Screen International as "Indonesia's equivalent to the Oscars", are the country's most prestigious film awards. They are intended to recognise Indonesian achievements in film and draw the public's interest to the cinema industry. Initially winners were selected from all entries by a jury, but owing to efficiency concerns and widespread disapproval of winners within the Indonesian film industry, beginning in 1979 the IFF instituted a nomination system in which a committee selected the Citra Award recipients from a shortlist of three to six nominees.

Niniek L. Karim is an Indonesian actress who has won two Citra Awards for Best Supporting Actress.

Teuku Rifnu Wikana is an Indonesian actor of Acehnese descent. He became famous after starring in the films 9 Naga and Mendadak Dangdut in 2006.

The 6th Annual Indonesian Movie Awards was held on May 30, 2012, at the Tennis Indoor Senayan, Central Jakarta. The award show was hosted by Winky Wiryawan and Prisia Nasution. And the nominations have been announced for the category of Favorite, which will be chosen by the public via SMS. As for the category of Best, will be selected by a jury that has been appointed. As a guest star who will fill the event, among them Koil, Bondan Prakoso & Fade 2 Black, Yovie & Nuno, Coboy Junior, Penta Boyz, Latinka, etc.

The 5th Annual Indonesian Movie Awards was held on May 10, 2011, at the Tennis Indoor Senayan, Central Jakarta. The award show was hosted by Okky Lukman and Choky Sitohang. And the nominations have been announced for the category of Favorite, which will be chosen by the public via SMS. As for the category of Best, will be selected by a jury that has been appointed. As a guest star who will fill the event, among them Afgan, Wali, Petra Sihombing, Nidji, D'Masiv, etc.

The 4th Annual Indonesian Movie Awards was held on May 7, 2010, at the JITEC Mangga Dua Square, North Jakarta. The award show was hosted by Okky Lukman and Choky Sitohang. And the nominations have been announced for the category of Favorite, which will be chosen by the public via SMS. As for the category of Best, will be selected by a jury that has been appointed. This time, there are 36 films which consists of 15 drama film, 11 comedy film, and other like horror, religion, and documentary film. And the number of awards up for grabs this time there are 15, respectively 8 Best and 7 Favorite.

The 3rd Annual Indonesian Movie Awards was held on May 15, 2009, at the Tennis Indoor Senayan, Central Jakarta. The award show was hosted by Luna Maya, Ruben Onsu, and Raffi Ahmad. And the nominations have been announced for the category of Favorite, which will be chosen by the public via SMS. As for the category of Best, will be selected by a jury that has been appointed. For the category which contested are the same as last year's celebration.

The 1st Annual Indonesian Movie Awards was held on December 15, 2007, at the Plenary Hall, Jakarta Convention Center, Central Jakarta, is the first year of implementation of Indonesian Movie Awards. Iis Dahlia is an Indonesian singer and actress. She rose to fame after the release of her 1990 dangdut album Tamu Tak Diundang. She is best known for her songs "Cinta Bukanlah Kapal", "Payung Hitam" and "Ser".
