Professional career

Kassanavoid set her personal best of 78.00 m (255 ft 10 in) on April 30, 2022, in Tucson, Arizona. [1] [2] On July 17, 2022, at the 2022 World Athletics Championships in Eugene, Oregon, Kassanavoid won the bronze medal with a distance of 74.86 m. [3] She is Native American—a member of the Comanche Nation—making her the first Native American woman to win a medal at the World Athletics Championships (including Olympics). [4] [5]
