South Korean singer and songwriter Jimin has released two studio albums, one extended play, eleven singles (including five as a featured artist), and eight music videos. He made his debut as a member of the boy band BTS under Big Hit Entertainment in 2013. In addition to his group activities, Jimin began his solo career in 2023.
His first studio album, Face, was released in 2023, featuring the singles "Set Me Free Pt. 2" and "Like Crazy." "Like Crazy" debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100, making Jimin the first Korean solo artist to top the chart. Mrs. Green Apple is a Japanese rock band from Tokyo that made its major debut in 2015 with EMI Records. They are known for performing the fourth ending theme to the anime series Yu-Gi-Oh! "Clear" is a song recorded by Japanese singer Maaya Sakamoto. It was released as a single on January 31, 2018, through FlyingDog. It was written by Sakamoto and composed by Yoshiki Mizuno of the band Ikimono-gakari. "Clear" is the opening theme to the NHK anime Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card, the sequel to Cardcaptor Sakura, for which Sakamoto's "Platinum" served as opening theme for the third season close to twenty years prior. "Stay Gold" is a song recorded by South Korean boy band BTS as the original soundtrack for the TV Tokyo drama series Spiral Labyrinth – DNA Forensic Investigation. It is also the lead single from the band's fourth Japanese studio album, Map of the Soul: 7 – The Journey (2020). The song was produced by long-time Japanese collaborator UTA, who co-wrote it with Sunny Boy, Melanie Fontana, Michel Schulz, JUN, and KM-MARKIT. It was digitally pre-released on June 19, 2020, as part of the lead up to the album's debut.

Formed through the reality competition show Produce 101 Japan, JO1 debuted in 2020 with the single Protostar and the Japan Hot 100 number-one song "Infinity".
