The Missouri Governor's Mansion is a historic U.S. residence in Jefferson City, Missouri. It is located at 100 Madison Street. On May 21, 1969, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. It is located in the Missouri State Capitol Historic District.
The Lincoln American Tower is a 22-story building located at the corner of North Main and Court streets in Memphis, Tennessee. It is also a historical landmark, one of the first steel frame skyscrapers built in Memphis. St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church and Rectory is a historic Roman Catholic church and rectory located at 812 Pearl Street in Joplin, Jasper County, Missouri. The church was built in 1906, and is a Late Gothic Revival style building constructed of Carthage limestone. It measures 63 feet, 6 inches, by 122 feet, 8 inches and features circular windows; tracery; Gothic arched windows and doors; and the triple portal entry. The rectory was built in 1917, and is a two-story Prairie School style dwelling with a finished basement. It is constructed of Carthage limestone and has a low pitched, hipped roof with wide overhang. Also on the property is a contributing concrete block garage.
Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Parsonage is a historic Roman Catholic church located on Route U in Rich Fountain in Osage County, Missouri. The church was built in 1879, and is a one-story, rectangular building constructed of cut- and squared buff-limestone rubble blocks. It measures approximately 45 feet by 140 feet and has a gabled, red tile roof installed in 1925. The church displays vernacular Gothic Revival and Romanesque Revival design elements. It features a bell and clock tower with its slate-shingled cone steeple, gabled vent dormers and Vendramini windows at cardinal points. The associated parsonage was built in 1881, and is a limestone rubble block building with segmental arched windows.
Journal Printing Company Building, also known as the Dockery Building, is a historic commercial building located at Kirksville, Adair County, Missouri. It was built in 1905, and is a rectangular, two‐story, five bay, buff brick two-part commercial block over a raised basement. It measures 40 feet by 108 feet. The building an ornate Italianate style metal cornice and six smooth, slender shafts with Ionic order capitals supporting a brick frieze at the first floor.
Main–Spanish Commercial Historic District is a national historic district located around Main and Spanish Streets in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. The district encompasses 26 contributing buildings in the central business district of Cape Girardeau. It developed between about 1880 and 1958, and includes representative examples of Italianate, Colonial Revival, Mission Revival, and Streamline Moderne style architecture. Located in the district is the separately listed Klostermann Block. Other notable buildings are F.W. Woolworth Company (1950), J.C. Penney Company (1928), Kraft Bakery, Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co (A&P) (1941), and Millikan Motor Co. (1941).
Esquire Theater is a historic movie theater located at Cape Girardeau, Missouri. It was built in 1946–1947, and is a two-story, brick building with a colorful Art Deco facade. The building measures approximately 100 feet by 60 feet. It features a projecting marquee with neon tube lights; a streamlined, curving entrance and ticket booth; a projecting proscenium-like arch; and embellishments including enameled and stainless steel, structural pigmented glass, marble and glass blocks.
Opera Hall Block, also known as the Farmers State Bank and Citizens National Bank Building, is a historic opera house and commercial block located at King City, Gentry County, Missouri. It was built in 1895, and is a 2 1/2-story, rectangular, Romanesque Revival style brick building. It measures 50 feet by 110 feet, and features a corner oriel window.
Plaza Hotel is a historic hotel building located at Trenton, Grundy County, Missouri. It was built in 1929–1930, and is a five-story, Art Deco style reinforced concrete building. The building measures approximately 10,912 square feet (1,013.8 m2) It has a pre-cast, concrete block exterior, concrete roof and floors.
City Hall is a historic city hall located at Forest City, Holt County, Missouri. It was built in 1901, and is a two-story, rectangular red brick building measuring 80 feet by 40 feet. It sits on a foundation of smoothed and coursed native limestone blocks. It features a square clock tower.
Iron County Courthouse Buildings is a historic courthouse complex located in Ironton, Iron County, Missouri. The complex consists of the two-story, red brick Italianate / Greek Revival style courthouse (1858); an octagonal, frame gazebo (1899); and two-story, brick sheriff's house and connecting stone jail. The courthouse measure approximately 65 feet by 47 feet, 3 inches and sits on a limestone block foundation. It is topped by a gable roof with cupola and features round arched windows.
St. Louis and San Francisco Railroad Building, also known as the Frisco Building, is a historic train station and office building located at Joplin, Jasper County, Missouri. It was built in 1913 for the St. Louis and San Francisco Railroad, and is a nine-story, "L"-shaped, brick and stone trimmed building with a decorative cornice. It measures approximately 101 feet by 127 feet and has a two-part vertical block form.
Morgan County Courthouse is a historic courthouse located in Versailles, Morgan County, Missouri. It was built in 1889 and is a two-story, Second Empire style red brick building on a limestone block foundation. It measures 85 feet by 85 feet. It features an aediculated cupola with decorative details articulated in cast iron, molded tin and wood, with four mansarded corner pavilions of three stories each.
Mackay Building, also known as Mackay Hall, is a historic building located on the campus of Park University at Parkville, Platte County, Missouri. It was built in 1886, and is a three-story, rock-faced limestone structure with Richardsonian Romanesque, High Victorian Gothic, and Chateauesque style design elements. It measures approximately 137 feet by 84 feet. It features a clock tower with tall spire rising in stages from a semi-detached central block, textured wall surfaces, complex roofs and towers, wall dormers, asymmetrical bays, and polychromatic color scheme.
The Alley Spring Roller Mill, also known as Red Mill, is a historic grist mill located in the Ozark National Scenic Riverways near Eminence, Shannon County, Missouri. It was built in 1893, and is a 2 1/2-story, rectangular frame building on a limestone block foundation. It measures 32 feet by 42 feet and houses four steel rollers and a single stone burr.
Dexter Gymnasium is a historic gymnasium located at Dexter, Stoddard County, Missouri. It was built in 1939-1940 during the Great Depression on a block donated to the local school system, and shares the block with a school and library. It is a rectangular two-story, Art Deco-style, reinforced concrete and brick building. It measures 88 feet by 96 feet and has a gentle geodesic arch roof. "The fourteen "ziggurat"-styled support columns or buttresses, seven each along the north and south facades, with their incised vertical lines, are an excellent example of this Art Deco style."
Administration Building, Missouri State Fruit Experiment Station, also known as the Old Administration Building, is a historic experiment station building located near Mountain Grove, Wright County, Missouri. It was designed by architect Henry H. Hohenschild and built in 1900. It is a 1 1⁄2-story, Tudor Revival style red brick building on a limestone block foundation. It measures 42 feet 5 inches (12.93 m) by 59 feet 10 inches (18.24 m). The building features a bellcast roof with pedimented gables, large scrolled brackets, and a squat round corner tower with a conical roof.
