The Lincolnshire Women's cricket team is the women's representative cricket team for the English historic county of Lincolnshire. They play their home matches at various grounds across the county, and are captained by Lauren Tuffrey. [1] After joining the Women's County Championship in 2015, they competed in Division Three in the final season of the tournament in 2019. [2] They have since competed in the Women's Twenty20 Cup. [3] They are partnered with the East Midlands regional team, The Blaze. [4]
Lincolnshire Women's Cricket Association was formed in February 1947. [5] Their representative team was due to play its first match against a Nottinghamshire XI at Belton Park on 14 June 1947 but the game was cancelled due to adverse weather. [6] In 1948 Lincolnshire played two inter-county matches, beating Yorkshire Second XI at Kesteven and Grantham Girls' School on 3 July, and losing to Nottinghamshire Second XI at Belton Park on 17 July. [7]
Before joining the nationwide county structure in 2014, Lincolnshire Women had only competed in friendlies and regional competitions. [8] In 2014, they competed in the Women's Twenty20 Cup, winning one of their four games in Division 4, against Northumberland Women. [9] [10] In 2015, they joined the Women's County Championship as well, finishing bottom of Division 4 North & East with one win. [11] Since then, Lincolnshire remained in the bottom tier of both competitions, achieving their best season in 2018, finishing second in their division in both the County Championship and the T20 competition. [12] [13] In 2021, they competed in the East Midlands Group of the Twenty20 Cup, finishing 2nd with 3 wins. [3] They also joined the East of England Championship in 2021, and finished 3rd out of 6 teams in their first season. [14] They finished bottom of their group in the 2022 Women's Twenty20 Cup, and bottom of the group in the 2022 East of England Championship. [15] [16] In the 2023 Women's Twenty20 Cup, the side finished second in their group, but the group finals day was abandoned due to rain. [17] In 2024, the side finished 8th in their group in the Twenty20 Cup and 9th in their group in the new ECB Women's County One-Day tournament. [18] [19]

The Wales women's cricket team is the Welsh team for women's cricket. They play their home matches at various grounds across the country, including Spytty Park, Newport and Pontarddulais Park, Pontarddulais. They are captained by Lauren Parfitt.
The Somerset Women cricket team is the women's representative cricket team for the English ceremonial county of Somerset. They play their home games at various grounds across Somerset, most often in Taunton, and are captained by Emily Edgcombe. Somerset consistently competed in either Division 1 or Division 2 of the Women's County Championship, and won Division 2 of the Women's Twenty20 Cup in 2019. In 2021, they won the West Midlands Group of the Twenty20 Cup. They are partnered with the regional team Western Storm.
The Nottinghamshire Women's cricket team is the women's representative cricket team for the English historic county of Nottinghamshire. They play their home games at John Fretwell Sporting Complex, Nettleworth and are captained by Teresa Graves. In 2019, they played in Division One of the final season of the Women's County Championship, and in 2021 won the East Midlands Group of the Women's Twenty20 Cup. They are partnered with the East Midlands regional side The Blaze.
The Berkshire Women's cricket team is the women's representative cricket team for the English historic county of Berkshire. They play their home games at various grounds across the county, including Summerleaze Road, Maidenhead and Falkland CC, Newbury, and are captained by Ashleigh Muttitt. The Lancashire Women's cricket team is the women's representative cricket team for the English historic county of Lancashire. The Cambridgeshire Women's cricket team is the women's representative cricket team for the English historic county of Cambridgeshire. They play their home games across the county, and are captained by Lara Neild. In the Women's County Championship, Cambridgeshire played as a combined team with Huntingdonshire, as Cambridgeshire and Huntingdonshire Women, but since 2014 they have played individually in the Women's Twenty20 Cup, in which they have consistently competed in the lowest tier. They are partnered with the regional side Sunrisers.
The Huntingdonshire Women's cricket team is the women's representative cricket team for the English historic county of Huntingdonshire. They play their home games at Cricketfield Lane in Ramsey, and are captained by Lottie Taylor. In the Women's County Championship, Huntingdonshire played as a combined team with Cambridgeshire, as Cambridgeshire and Huntingdonshire Women, but the two counties played separately in the 2014 Women's Twenty20 Cup, and Cambridgeshire have competed individually in the Twenty20 tournament since. In 2021, Huntingdonshire re-joined the Women's Twenty20 Cup, after playing in the East of England Championship in 2020. They are partnered with the regional side Sunrisers.
