RRR [lower-alpha 1] is a 2022 Indian Telugu-language epic action drama film directed by S. S. Rajamouli, who co-wrote the film with V. Vijayendra Prasad. It was produced by D. V. V. Danayya of DVV Entertainment. The film stars N. T. Rama Rao Jr., Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Shriya Saran, Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody, and Olivia Morris.

Made on a budget of ₹550 crore ($72 million), RRR is the most expensive Indian film to date. The film was released theatrically on 25 March 2022. [1] [2] RRR emerged as the highest-grossing film in its home market of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, grossing over 405.9 crore (US$51 million) and surpassing Rajamouli's previous film Baahubali 2. [3] The film grossed ₹1,125.9 crore ($405–472 million) worldwide, setting several box office records for an Indian film, including the third highest-grossing Indian film and second highest-grossing Telugu film worldwide.

The film has received various awards and nominations. The film was considered to be one of the best films of the year by the National Board of Review, making it only the second non-English film ever to make it to the list. [4] With its win for Best Original Song at the 80th Golden Globe Awards, "Naatu Naatu" became the first Asian as well as the first Indian song to win the award. [5] [6]

Fire of Love is a 2022 independent documentary film about the lives and careers of volcanologists Katia and Maurice Krafft. Directed, written, and produced by Sara Dosa, the film had its world premiere at the 2022 Sundance Film Festival on January 20, 2022, where it won the Jonathan Oppenheim Editing Award. "Naatu Naatu" is an Indian Telugu-language song composed by M. M. Keeravani, with lyrics by Chandrabose and recorded by Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava for the soundtrack album of the 2022 Indian film RRR. It was released on 10 November 2021 as the second single from the album, through Lahari Music and T-Series. The full video song, featuring visuals directly from the film, was released on 11 April 2022 on YouTube.

The 27th San Diego Film Critics Society Awards were announced on January 6, 2023. The nominations were announced on January 3, 2023, with The Banshees of Inisherin and Everything Everywhere All at Once leading the nominations with eleven each, followed by The Fabelmans with eight.
