WGMS was a radio station in Washington, D.C. that maintained a classical music format from 1946 to 2007. Last owned by Bonneville International, it was known on air for many years as Classical 103.5. It last broadcast on 104.1 MHz from a transmitter in Waldorf, Maryland, with a repeater signal broadcast from Braddock Heights, Maryland, on 103.9 MHz under the call sign of WGYS.

The Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) is a public radio and television broadcaster, located in The Pine, St. Michael in Barbados. It was founded in 1963 as Radio Barbados. The CBC falls under the ministry and jurisdiction of the Prime Minister's Office.

KWXY is a commercial AM radio station licensed to Cathedral City, California, and serving the Palm Springs radio market in the Coachella Valley. The station was founded in 1964 and is owned by Louie Comella, through licensee IVOX MEDIA, LLC. Studios, offices and the transmitter are on Dinah Shore Drive.

WTRY-FM Radio station in Rotterdam, New York

WTRY-FM, is a commercial radio station licensed to Rotterdam, New York. It airs a classic hits format. WTRY-FM serves the New York State Capital District in the Albany-Schenectady-Troy radio market. The station is owned by iHeartMedia, and broadcasts at 6,000 watts ERP from a tower in between Altamont and Duanesburg off U.S. Route 20. Studios and offices are on Troy-Schenectady Road in Latham.

The One 98.1 FM is a radio station owned and operated by the Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation, Barbados' public broadcaster.

CBC Radio (Barbados) Public radio station in Barbados

CBC Radio is the flagship radio station of the Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation, Barbados' public broadcaster. It broadcasts on 900 kHz (AM) and also on 94.7 MHz (FM). The Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation also owns and operates The One 98.1 FM (Barbados) (The One] on 98.1 MHz FM and on Quality 100.7 FM MHz.

Starcom Network began its life as Radio Distribution (Barbados) Limited, with the introduction of the first broadcast station then located at Wildey, St. Michael in 1935. At that time, the company transmitted its broadcast signal using a cable network system, known as subscription radio. As the only radio station in Barbados until the first wireless radio station 900 AM was started in 1963, subscribers used to pay for the radio on a monthly bases. The service later renamed Barbados Rediffusion was broadcast via cable to wall-mounted textured wood finished receivers. Each device was connected to wires via telephone poles all the way back to the studio. The premier presenters were the incomparable Alfred Pragnell, the incomparable Olga Lopes-Seale, Maurice Norville and David Ellis. It was broadcast from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The service was later expanded, featuring soap operas of the day. With the passage of time, Barbados Rediffusion closed on 30 November 1997, Independence Day Public Holiday when it celebrated its 31st Independence Birthday.

Voice of Barbados (VOB) was introduced in 1981 as Barbados' second radio station. Originally located at 790 AM, the station was meant to complement the Redifussion service. In the late 1990s Voice of Barbados (VOB) changed to the FM dial, with 790 AM changing format from general to gospel. 790 AM was abandoned when the gospel format was moved to 97.5 FM.

WABD is an American radio station licensed to serve the community of Mobile, Alabama. The station, established in 1973 as WABB-FM, is owned and operated by Cumulus Media. Its studios are on Dauphin Street in Midtown Mobile, and its transmitter is near Spanish Fort, Alabama.

KTTU-FM Radio station in New Deal, Texas

KTTU-FM is a radio station licensed to New Deal, Texas and owned by Ramar Communications Inc. of Lubbock serving the Lubbock area. KLZK was originally on 104.3. On March 30, 2008, KLZK-FM swapped frequencies with sister station KSTQ-FM.

During World War II, the US Armed Forces Radio Service network – WVDI began broadcasting in May 1943 from Fort Reid, Chaguaramas. At that time, WVDI mainly serviced the armed forces throughout the Caribbean.

Red FM is a defunct Malaysian English language-private radio station that used to broadcast across Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore. It was managed by Star Media Radio Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of Star Publications (M) Bhd. Red FM began broadcasting on 1 September 2001 and was one of Malaysia's top five English radio stations.

CKFG-FM is a radio station in Toronto, Ontario. Owned by CINA Media Group, its studios are located on Kern Road in the Don Mills neighbourhood of North York, while its transmitter is located at the top of First Canadian Place in Downtown Toronto.
