Kabir Das (1398–1518) was a 15th-century Indian mystic poet and saint. His writings influenced Hinduism's Bhakti movement, and his verses are found in Sikhism's scripture Guru Granth Sahib, the Satguru Granth Sahib of Saint Garib Das, and Kabir Sagar.

It is celebrated once in a year on the full moon day in the Hindu month Jyeshtha, which is the month of May or June according to the Gregorian calendar. It is considered that the holy Poet and Saint Kabir Das came on earth this day in the year 1398 A.D. Kabir prakat diwas was celebrated on 24 June in 2021 and the 2022 date will be 14 June.
