Mangalam College of Engineering (MLM) is a NAAC Accredited self-financing technical institution located at Ettumanoor in Kottayam district of Kerala. [8]

MLM was established in the year 2002 and is affiliated to the APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Kerala and also approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. MLM offers bachelor's degree in engineering and master's degree in both engineering and business administration.

MLM is managed by the Mangalam Educational Society [9] [10] an educational society under the Mangalam Group.

History

Mangalam College of Engineering was founded in the year 2002 by late Mr. M. C. Varghese [11] (Founder Chairman of the Mangalam Group) as a private self-financing engineering college in Kerala. After the demise of Mr. M. C. Varghese, his son Mr. Biju Varghese was appointed as the Chairman of the institution. The college is located in Ettumanoor of Kottayam district in Kerala which spreads over an area of about 25 acres.[ citation needed ]

Bharata Mata College

Bharata Mata College is an institution of higher education, located in Thrikkakara, Kochi, in the south Indian state of Kerala. The college is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University and offers 17 undergraduate, 4 post-graduate and 2 professional programmes. The first college in Kerala state and the second established under British rule in India was the C.M.S. College (1840). Mahatma Gandhi University is located in Kottayam district.
