Michael Dawson (born 15 October 1986 in Tauranga) is a New Zealand slalom canoeist who has competed at the international level since 2004. [1]
He won a bronze medal in the inaugural Extreme K1 event at the 2017 ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships in Pau. At the 2012 Summer Olympics in London he competed in the K1 event [2] finishing in 15th place after being eliminated in the semifinals. Four years later in Rio de Janeiro he made the final and finished in 10th place in the K1 event. [3]
In 2010, and again in 2012, he won first place in the extreme-whitewater Green River Narrows Race in North Carolina, US. [4] [5]

Richard Munro Fox is a British slalom canoeist who competed for Great Britain from the late 1970s to the mid-1990s. He won eleven medals at the ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships with ten golds and a bronze. Fox also won the overall World Cup title three times and the Euro Cup four times.
Elena Kaliská is a retired Slovak slalom canoeist who competed at the international level from 1988 to 2019. She specialized in the K1 event, which was the only discipline available for women during the vast majority of her career.

He won two medals at the Summer Olympics in the K1 event with a silver in 2008 and a bronze in 2004. He has a son called Noe Lefèvre.
Nicolas Peschier is a French slalom canoeist who competed at the international level from 1999 to 2016. In the early part of his career he was specializing on the C1 class. He also competed in the C2 class from 2011 to 2015 together with Pierre Labarelle.
Jana Dukátová is a former Slovak slalom canoeist who competed at the international level from 1999 to 2021. She specialized in the K1 event for most of her career, although she was also one of the pioneers of the women's C1 discipline, becoming the first ever world champion. She stopped competing in C1 after 2010.
Richard John Hounslow is a British slalom canoeist who competed at the international level from 1999 until his retirement in 2016. He started out as a specialist in the kayak (K1) category, but in 2009 he also started competing in canoe doubles (C2) alongside David Florence. In his last season (2016) he concentrated on the C2 class exclusively.

He is the 2016 Olympic champion in the K1 event, the 2023 World champion in the same event, and a triple World champion in the kayak cross discipline, and has won multiple medals at World and European Championships. He is the most successful kayak cross competitor at global level in the history of the event.
