Devendra Gangadharrao Fadnavis is an Indian politician who is serving as the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra from 30 June 2022 alongside Ajit Pawar who was sworn in as the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra for the 5th time on 2 July 2023. He also served as the 18th Chief Minister of Maharashtra from 31 October 2014 to 12 November 2019, Leader of the Opposition, Maharashtra Legislative Assembly from 2019 to 2022 and the President of BJP, Maharashtra state unit from 2013 to 2015. Having been sworn in at the age of 44, he is the second-youngest Chief Minister in Maharashtra's history after Sharad Pawar. He served a 5-day long second term as Chief Minister during the 2019 Maharashtra political crisis, before resigning on 28 November 2019. A member of the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Fadnavis has represented the Nagpur South West constituency in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly since 2009 and Nagpur West from 1999 to 2009. He was also Mayor of Nagpur from 1997 to 2001.

Dajisaheb Ramrao Chavan was an Indian politician and served as a Member of parliament, Lok Sabha for 16 years. A member of the Indian National Congress, he was the former Union Deputy Minister for Defence and Law. His wife, Premala, represented his Lok Sabha seat after his death. Their son Prithviraj was Chief Minister of Maharashtra from 2010 to 2014.

Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil is an Indian politician, and a 7-time undefeated MLA from Shirdi Vidhan Sabha Constituency in Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra. He is currently the Minister for Revenue, in the Government of Maharashtra and was the 1st Minister sworn in the Eknath Shinde ministry expansion, after Eknath Shinde and Devendra Fadnavis in the Cabinet Expansion held on 9 August 2022. Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil has been a member of the Maharashtra Vidhan Sabha since 1995. He was elected in the 2014 with 1,21,459 votes and most recently in 2019 with record breaking 1,32,316 votes.

The Armed Forces Division (AFD) is the principal national command authority for national defense of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. The Government of India awarded him the third highest civilian honour of the Padma Bhushan, in 2008, for his contributions to Indian civil service.

Sharad Pawar was sworn in as Chief Minister of Maharashtra for the fourth time on 6 March 1993. On appointment, Pawar formed a 18-member cabinet. The cabinet continued until the 1995 legislative elections, and was replaced by the Manohar Joshi ministry.
