Kadam died of renal dysfunction at Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital on 9 March 2018.

Dajisaheb Ramrao Chavan was an Indian politician and served as a Member of parliament, Lok Sabha for 16 years. A member of the Indian National Congress, he was the former Union Deputy Minister for Defence and Law. His wife, Premala, represented his Lok Sabha seat after his death. Their son Prithviraj was Chief Minister of Maharashtra from 2010 to 2014.


Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil is an Indian politician in his seventh consecutive term as MLA from Shirdi Vidhan Sabha Constituency in Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra. He is currently the Minister for Revenue, in the Government of Maharashtra and was the 1st Minister sworn in the Eknath Shinde ministry expansion, after Eknath Shinde and Devendra Fadnavis in the Cabinet Expansion held on 9 August 2022. Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil has been a member of the Maharashtra Vidhan Sabha since 1995. He was elected in the 2014 with 1,21,459 votes and most recently in 2019 with record breaking 1,32,316 votes.

The Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief is a ministry of the government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, responsible for disaster management and relief. After the independence of Bangladesh in 1972, two separate ministries namely Ministry of Relief and Rehabilitation and Ministry of Food were formed. In 1982, the two ministries were merged into two departments under the Ministry of Food; namely - the Food Department and the Relief and Rehabilitation Department. <span class="mw-page-title-main">K. Padmanabhaiah</span> Indian civil servant

K. Padmanabhaiah is a retired Indian civil servant and a former Home Secretary of India. He is the chairman of the Court of Governors of the Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI), and has headed many government committees such as the Committee on Police Reforms (2000), the Committee on Reorganization of the Services Selection Board, and the committee to Review the working of National Institute of Urban Management. The Government of India awarded him the third highest civilian honour of the Padma Bhushan, in 2008, for his contributions to Indian civil service.

Sharad Pawar was sworn in as Chief Minister of Maharashtra for the fourth time on 6 March 1993. On appointment, Pawar formed a 18-member cabinet. The cabinet continued until the 1995 legislative elections, and was replaced by the Manohar Joshi ministry.
