Location and date
On January 25, 2026, Miss Universe Philippines Organization began introducing updated branding for the seventh edition aligned with that of the international pageant.[1] The following day, Mags Cue, a vice president of the organization, hinted at a "spectacular" event slated for February.[2]
Selection of participants
As of February 6, 2026, delegates from 38 cities and municipalities have been selected from local and regional pageants organized by accredited partners of the competition. Likewise, an additional 10 delegates from Filipino communities abroad had been declared. Currently, there are 48 contenders on its roster.[3]
The results of the preliminary competition, which will evaluate the contestants in the swimsuit, evening gown segments, along with the closed-door interviews, are expected to determine the semifinalists for the edition.[5]
