The Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna is a leftist political party in Sri Lanka. He is a naval assistant engineer by profession and is a member of Engineering forum steering committee of NPP.
Prof. Ruwan Chaminda Ranasinghe is a Sri Lankan politician and a member of the National People's Power. He was appointed as a Member of Parliament for National List in 2024 Sri Lankan parliamentary election as a member of the National People's Power. He is the Dean of Faculty of Management at Uva Wellassa University as well as the chairman of Uva provincial tourism board.
