Blairsville is a city in Union County, Georgia, United States. As of the 2010 census, the city had a population of 652. The city is the county seat of Union County.

National Register of Historic Places federal list of historic sites in the United States

The National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) is the United States federal government's official list of districts, sites, buildings, structures, and objects deemed worthy of preservation for their historical significance. A property listed in the National Register, or located within a National Register Historic District, may qualify for tax incentives derived from the total value of expenses incurred preserving the property.

It was designed by architects Golucke & Stewart. It has a hipped roof with intersecting gables. An original clock tower is gone, as are some decorative turrets. It has a Richardsonian Romanesque stone-trimmed arch at the main entrance. [2]

The courthouse is in the center of a traffic circle that includes Cleveland Street from the south, Pat Haralson Memorial Drive from the north, Blue Ridge Street from the west, and Wellborn Street and Candler Drive from the east. Until 2016 US 19/129/SR 11 circled around the courthouse from Cleveland Street to the south onto Blue Ridge Street to the west.

Skyline Drive is a 105-mile (169 km) road that runs the entire length of the National Park Service's Shenandoah National Park in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, generally along the ridge of the mountains. The Dillon County Courthouse, built in 1911, is a historic courthouse located at 301 West Main Street in the city of Dillon in Dillon County, South Carolina. It was designed in the Classical Revival style by Darlington native William Augustus Edwards who designed eight other South Carolina courthouses as well as academic buildings at 12 institutions in Florida, Georgia and South Carolina. Dillon County was created in 1910 and this is the only courthouse it has ever had. On October 30, 1981, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places. It is located in the Dillon Downtown Historic District.

The Fannin County Courthouse, built in 1937, is an historic courthouse building located in Blue Ridge, Georgia, United States. It was designed by Atlanta-based architect William Augustus Edwards who designed one other courthouse in Georgia, two in Florida and nine in South Carolina well as academic buildings at 12 institutions in Florida, Georgia and South Carolina. On June 8, 1995, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places.

Gwinnett County Courthouse

The Gwinnett Historic Courthouse is an historic government building located at 185 West Crogan Street in Lawrenceville in Gwinnett County, Georgia. The original county courthouse burned in 1872. The present day Courthouse was built in 1885. It served as the center of county business for over a century. As the population of the county grew, the Courthouse could no longer handle all of the county's business. In 1988, Gwinnett County moved the majority of its operations into the new Justice and Administration Building located at 75 Langley Drive in Lawrenceville. The old Courthouse underwent a lengthy three year renovation starting in 1989. It reopened on July 3, 1992 as the Gwinnett Historic Courthouse. Today, it serves as a rental venue for weddings, concerts, conferences, and other special events. It is one of the parks maintained by the Gwinnett County Parks and Recreation Department.

James Wingfield Golucke (1865–1907), often known as J.W. Golucke, was an American architect based in Atlanta, Georgia.

Hobart Welded Steel House Company was a company that manufactured 22 pre-fabricated steel houses in Troy, Ohio, from 1932 to 1941. The company and all 22 houses were located in Troy, Ohio. This article is about the firm and also provides a List of Hobart Welded Steel House Company houses. Sixteen of the houses built by the company, in addition to three garages and a shed, were listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) in 1989. Ten of the houses are located on Hobart Circle and Hobart Drive in the Hobart Circle Historic District. Five other houses are extant, but have not been listed on the NRHP. The five non-listed properties are located in Edgehill, but were not deemed to have sufficient historic integrity to support listing on the NRHP. The Old White County Courthouse is a historic county courthouse building in Cleveland, Georgia, and home to the White County Historical Society. It was built in 1859. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on October 28, 1970. It is on GA 115, and flanked by the northbound and southbound lanes of US 129 between SR 115 as well as East Jarrard Street to the north. The building was used for White County government business until 1962 when a modernist courthouse was built south of the square on South Main Street.
