Barossa Valley Way is the main road linking most of the major towns of the Barossa Valley in South Australia, designated as route B19 for its entire length. It is 35 km long, roughly following the North Para River.

Orroroo is a town in the Yorke and Mid North region of South Australia. At the 2016 census, the locality of Orroroo had a population of 610 while its urban centre had a population of 537. The Wilmington-Ucolta Road passes through here, intersecting with the RM Williams Way which leads to the Birdsville and Oodnadatta Tracks. The Peterborough–Quorn railway line extended from Peterborough to Orroroo also in 1881 and Quorn in 1882, connecting with the new Central Australia Railway from Port Augusta. These railways have now been abandoned. Orroroo is situated near Goyder's Line, a line drawn up in 1865 by Surveyor General Goyder which he believed indicated the edge of the area suitable for agriculture.

Route B83 follows the Flinders Ranges Way through Quorn to Hawker, but then branches onto The Outback Highway along the western side of the ranges through Leigh Creek to Lyndhurst.
The Outback Highway is the road from Hawker along the western side of the Flinders Ranges through Leigh Creek to Marree. It is designated as part of route B83 from Hawker to Lyndhurst. Route B83 continues south from Hawker along the Flinders Ranges Way.
Hilltown is a locality in the District Council of Clare and Gilbert Valleys of South Australia. The former town centre is located on Hilltown Road, which runs north-south between Andrews and Hill River, while the unsealed Harvey Highway connects the former town centre to RM Williams Way. It is about 4 km east of RM Williams Way, on the former Spalding railway line.
County of Blachford is a cadastral unit located in the Australian state of South Australia that covers land between the east coast of Lake Torrens and the western side of the Flinders Ranges about 90 kilometres (56 mi) north-east of the city of Port Augusta. It was proclaimed in 1877 and named after Frederic Rogers, 1st Baron Blachford who was the Under Secretary of State for the Colonies from 1860 to 1871. It has been partially divided in the following sub-units of hundreds – Barndioota, Cotabena, Warrakimbo, Wonoka and Woolyana.
Yanyarrie is a locality in the Australian state of South Australia located on the eastern side of the Flinders Ranges about 289 kilometres (180 mi) north of the state capital of Adelaide and about and 45 kilometres (28 mi) north of the municipal seat of Orroroo.
County of Hanson is a cadastral unit located in the Australian state of South Australia that covers land in the Flinders Ranges immediately east of the town of Hawker. It was proclaimed on 20 July 1877 and is named after Sir Richard Davies Hanson who served as Premier, Administrator and Chief Justice of South Australia. It has been partially divided in the following sub-units of hundreds – Adams, Arkaba, French, Moralana and Warcowie.
Olympic Dam Highway is a sealed, 92 kilometres (57 mi) long, outback highway in South Australia that runs from Stuart Highway in Pimba to Olympic Dam via Woomera. The road also provides access to the town of Roxby Downs. It is designated route B97.
