Ngarkat Highway is a road in the southeastern part of South Australia, connecting Pinnaroo and Bordertown. [3] It is designated as part of route B57 which continues north from Pinnaroo along Browns Well Highway to Loxton (concurrent with B12 on Mallee Highway for 7km west of Pinnaroo), and south from Bordertown along Naracoorte Road to Naracoorte (concurrent with A8 on Dukes Highway for 10km east of Cannawigara).
The Ngarkat Highway passes through Ngarkat Conservation Park.

Dukes Highway is a 190 kilometre highway corridor in South Australia which is part of the link between the Australian cities of Adelaide and Melbourne. It is part of the National Highway system spanning Australia, and is signed as route A8.
Riddoch Highway is a rural highway in south-eastern South Australia, designated as route A66 between Keith and Mount Gambier, with the remainder between Mount Gambier and Port MacDonnell designated as route B66. It is named after John Riddoch, the first white settler landholder and vigneron in Coonawarra.

Pinnaroo is a town in the Murray Mallee region of South Australia, near the border with Victoria, 243 km east of Adelaide. Pinnaroo is on the north side of the Mallee Highway, and on the railway line between Tailem Bend and Ouyen. The roadhouse on the highway at Pinnaroo is the first "food and leg-stretch" stop on the bus route from Adelaide to Sydney. At the 2016 census, the locality of Pinnaroo had a population of 712 of which 547 lived in and around its town centre.
Lameroo is a town in the Murray Mallee region of South Australia. It is on the Mallee Highway and Pinnaroo railway line about 40 km west of the Victorian border, or 210 km east of Adelaide. It is primarily a service town for the surrounding rural areas, growing grain and sheep. Lameroo now includes the former settlements of Kulkami, Mulpata, Wirha and Gurrai, which were on the Peebinga railway line, and Wilkawatt, which was between Parrakie and Lameroo on the Pinnaroo railway.

Route B83 follows the Flinders Ranges Way through Quorn to Hawker, but then branches onto The Outback Highway along the western side of the ranges through Leigh Creek to Lyndhurst.
St Vincent Highway is a major road on the southern part of Yorke Peninsula in South Australia. It diverges from Yorke Highway to continue south along the coast of Gulf St Vincent near Pine Point. It passes inland of Port Vincent, Stansbury, Wool Bay and Port Giles then passes through Coobowie and Edithburgh. From here, the St Vincent Highway turns northwest to Yorketown and west to Warooka where it rejoins Yorke Highway.
Browns Well Highway is a road connecting Loxton, South Australia through the Murray Mallee to Pinnaroo in South Australia. It was named in 2008 after the Browns Well district for areas traversed by the highway.
The Outback Highway is the road from Hawker along the western side of the Flinders Ranges through Leigh Creek to Marree. It is designated as part of route B83 from Hawker to Lyndhurst. Route B83 continues south from Hawker along the Flinders Ranges Way.
