The Ramena River is a river of northwestern Madagascar in the region of Diana. It has its sources at the Maromokotra and is the main affluent of the Sambirano River. [1] Its outlet is situated at Ambodimanga Ramena.

Ambodivahibe Marine Reserve is a new marine protected area in the municipalities Ramena and Mahavanona in the Diana Region, north-east of Madagascar as an unusually rich zone for marine biodiversity. It covers the Ambodivahibe Bay. A cool upwelling from the deep bay is thought to provide natural resilience to coral bleaching and this may explain the unusually pristine coral habitat.

Kad pogledaš me preko ramena(When you look at me over the shoulder) is the thirteenth studio album by Zdravko Čolić, released in 2010. It was released after a 4-year pause, when in 2006 the album "Zavičaj" (Homeland) was released. The songs were recorded and performed in 2009, while the recording was set in Belgrade, Zagreb, Novo Mesto and London. The album was produced by Vojislav Aralica and Nikša Bratoš and the executive producer was Adis Gojak.

Brookesia valerieae is a species of chameleon, a lizard in the family Chamaeleonidae. The species is endemic to Madagascar. It was first described by Raxworthy in 1991. The IUCN have classed this species as endangered, and it is affected by slash-and-burn agriculture. It is not a protected species.

Maevatanana is a rural municipality in northern Madagascar, 24km from Ambanja. It lies in the valley of the Sambirano River that is the main cocoa producing area of Madagascar. 60% or 7500 to 10 000 ton yearly provide from this area. There is an unpaved piste from Ambanja to Marovato, via Benavony, Ambodimanga Ramena, Bemaneviky Ouest, Maevatanana that is hardly practicable. Most of the exported cocoa is therefore transported with boats on the Sambirano River.

Route nationale 59b is a secondary highway in Madagascar, running from the intersection of RN 6 at Diego Suarez to beach village of Ramena. It is located in Diana Region and has a length of 19 km.
