Nativity of Mary, Blessed Virgin Catholic Church is a historic church located at 2833 Farm to Market Road 2672 in High Hill, Texas. The church, which was built in 1906, was designed by prominent Texas church architect Leo M.J. Dielmann. Dielmann designed the red brick church in the Gothic Revival style. The interior of the church was painted by Ferdinand Stockert and Hermann Kern in 1912. The pair painted designs on canvas and affixed them to the church walls, resulting in decorations which resemble wallpaper. The designs were drawn freehand and include symbols such as angels, crosses with crowns, Stars of David, and bunches of grapes. The church was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Jacob M. Nachtigall was an American architect active in Omaha and eastern Nebraska. The surname is sometimes spelled Nachtigal. He designed numerous Catholic churches and other buildings in Nebraska. Nachtigall was born in Germany in about 1874 and came with his family to the U.S. in 1883. He apprenticed under Thomas Rogers Kimball during 1900–1908 and went independent in 1909. A number of his works survive and are listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. Works include :

Holy Family Church is a historic church at 1840 Lincoln Street in North Chicago, Illinois. The church was built in 1914-15 for North Chicago's Roman Catholic congregation, which was formed in 1901. Architect William F. Gubbins designed the Late Gothic Revival church. The church's design includes a front-facing gable with a large stained glass window, pointed arch windows, and a square bell tower with large louvered windows, all typical features of Gothic Revival architecture. The Catholic congregation used the church until 1991; it is now occupied by the Emmanuel Faith Bible Christian Center.

It was constructed during the tenure of Rev. Pasquale Mugnano (1888–1971), from Naples, who was pastor of the parish from 1923 to 1970. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 3, 2010, for its significance in art and architecture from 1928 to 1959.
