The Saint Paul's Church also known as Saint Paul's Protestant Episcopal Church, is a historic Episcopal church in Petersburg, Virginia, United States. It was designed by Niernsee & Neilson and built between 1855 and 1857, in the Gothic Revival style. The church is constructed of brick and features a three-story entrance tower. Also on the property are a contributing rectory (c. 1860) and parish house (1922). The church was attended by Robert E. Lee during the Siege of Petersburg in 1864–65. [3]
It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. [1] It is located in the Petersburg Courthouse Historic District.

Martin's Brandon Church, also known as Brandon Church and as Martin's Brandon Episcopal Church, is a historic Episcopal church located at 18706 James River Drive in Burrowsville, Virginia. Martin's Brandon Parish was formed in the early 17th century and derives its name from the nearby Martin's Brandon Plantation patented by Captain John Martin in 1616. The current church was designed by noted Baltimore architect Niernsee & Neilson and built in 1855 as a replacement for an earlier sanctuary that once stood directly across Route 10 near the site of the Burrowsville School. Several of its beautiful stained glass windows were designed by Louis Comfort Tiffany. A cherished possession of Brandon Church is a silver communion chalice known as the "Communion Cupp" that has been used by Martin's Brandon Parish since the 17th century. The property also includes the contributing church cemetery.
The Saint Paul's Vestry House is a historic building in Lynchburg, Virginia, United States. It was built about 1855 and is a single-story Classical Revival-style building with a simple low pitched gable roof and a rectangular plan. It is likely the only vestry house built exclusively for the governing body of an Episcopal Church in Virginia. It also served as the first home of the Lynchburg Woman's Club from 1903 to 1916.

The Blandford Church is the oldest building in Petersburg, Virginia whose history is well documented. It is at the highest point in the city, atop Well's Hill. It is today (2019) part of a memorial to Southern soldiers who died during the Civil War. It is adjacent to Blandford Cemetery, one of the oldest, largest and historically significant cemeteries in Virginia. The Blandford Cemetery did not exist until after the church building had been abandoned, in the early 1800s, and the land purchased by the city to use as a cemetery.

St. Paul's Episcopal Church is a historic Episcopal church in Hanover Courthouse, Virginia, United States. It was built in 1895, and is a one-story, frame building in the Late Gothic Revival style. It has a brick foundation and weatherboard siding with symmetrically-placed lancet windows. The front facade features a protruding bell tower in the center with two flanking lancet windows. The church is connected at the northeast corner to an addition used for offices and classrooms, that was built in the 1930s. Another addition was built in the 1960s.

St. Paul's Episcopal Church is a historic Episcopal church in Haymarket, Virginia, United States. It was started in 1801 and is a two-story, gable-roofed brick church building. The building originally served as the district courthouse for Fairfax, Fauquier, Loudon, and Prince William counties. It later housed Hygeia Academy. It was consecrated as a church in 1834, and remodeled in 1867, after being gutted during the American Civil War. The remodeling added the frame chancel, bracketed cornice, and octagonal belfry and spire.
St. John's AME Church is a historic congregation of the African Methodist Episcopal Church in Norfolk, Virginia, United States. Founded in 1840, it was the first African American Episcopal Church in Virginia. It moved to its present location on East Bute Street in what is now Downtown Norfolk in 1848.
St. Peter's Episcopal Church, now known as The New Saint James Holiness Church of Christ Disciples, is a historic Episcopal church in Norfolk, Virginia, United States. It is a frame, gable-roofed building with two contiguous sections: 1) the sanctuary built in 1886; 2) and the fellowship hall built in 1912. The church building is in the Gothic Revival style. The building features a small gable-roofed arched entrance door and large and small arched stained-glass windows. St. Peter's is one of six mission churches that descended from St. Paul's. St. Peter's Episcopal Church operated at this location until 1959, when it was transferred to the African-American trustees of Garretts Independent Community Church. In 1967, St. Peter's was transferred to the trustees of what come to be known as Saint James Holiness Church of Christ Disciples.
Christ Church was a historic Episcopal church located at Norfolk, Virginia. It was built in 1828, and was a one-story, temple form church in the Greek Revival style. It was fronted by a distyle portico with two unfluted Greek Doric order columns. It measured approximately 64 feet by 96 feet, and featured a cupola with octagonal belfry. The congregations roots can be traced back to 1637. In 1798, the congregation of Borough Church split into two factions, with the other being Saint Paul's Episcopal Church. Christ Church merged their congregation with St. Luke's in 1910, and the building housed a Greek Orthodox congregation until 1955. It was demolished in January 1973.
