Satsuma is a genus of air-breathing land snails, terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusks in the tribe Aegistini of the subfamily Bradybaeninae in the family Camaenidae. [2]
Satsuma species can primarily be found in Japan, as well as China. It also exists in Vietnam, Guam, and the Phillipines, as well as Indonesia and Hong Kong. [3]
